Early Bird- Stunning Sunrise- Moalboal Bay-Philippines

Hello to all you Hivers.

well I don't sleep much. In fact 5 hours is a lot of sleep for me so I am invariably up very early. Sometimes ridiculously so. This morning was a prime example.

However as I shuffled into the kitchen/living area I saw a beautiful sky unfolding as the sun was attempting to make an appearance.

I immediately grabbed the nearest camera device ( i pad in this instance. Took a few shots and then quickly set the coffee maker so I could enjoy it all with some fresh black coffee.
IMG6095.jpg

Then I drank a few cups of rocket fuel and snapped away admiring what very few people were up early enough to witness.

IMG6094.jpg

Pretty much just me and a few fishermen. It's normally after 6:30 the screaming kids enter the arena and completely spoil the ambiance. Luckily this moment had passed before their noise arrived.
IMG6089.jpg

It was difficult for me to choose only a few photographs so i've just whittled it down to 8 as I could not choose between them.

IMG6092.jpg
As the sun slowly came up the clours were shifting and it was just one beautiful moment after the next.

I love being an early bird. It's one of my favourite times of the day. Quiet, personal, still, beautiful

Well I hope you enjoyed these lovely sunrise photographs as much as I enjoyed being there to take them. Have a lovely day, Keep hiving and above all stay safe out there wherever you may be on this planet right now.

Ciao!

Would love to see this in real life! Pics don’t always do them justice.

Definitely. What kind of camera did you use on these?

My I pad was the closest thing at hand so i grabbed it off the table quick as the light changes quite quickly with sunrise and if I wasted 5 mins looking for another I'd miss the magic of the moment. I am always surprised at how good the pics are from the i pad

Makes sense. These devices are pretty amazing aren’t they.

Surprisingly so. This is probably why Olympus are no longer going tobe making cameras. The middle market of camera buyers is no longer there for them

It’s still fun to use the dslr, but when you have a phone in your pocket 24/7, its just so easy. When I’m in the Rockies I take both with always.

Stunning sunrise! I should wake up a lot earlier to catch this. I have to stop binge watching past midnight.
