Welcome to March, the month of greatness. I wish everyone a very beautiful month ahead.

Welcome back to my blog. This day we are talking about friendship. How was the first day you met someone that later affected you so strongly in your life.

Well, for me I have come in contact with friends at different levels. Some I later discovered that we don't have same mindset and I push them aside. While there are also some that I discovered that they just want to be in charge of everything that happens in the relationship, and if I watch and discover that you are the domineering type, I will also give excuse you.

I don't do it the way it will cost problem. Hausa people say that when you send someone away with your character, that it is more painful than when you send the person away with a whip. "Kora de hali yafi kora da sanda". I do it in such a way that we can still see ourselves on the road and in the market and greet very well, but I am no longer with that person.

Coming back to our topic for the day. "The first encounter". I have this special friend that have so affected me positively from my childhood days. We grow up together in the same street. Though I don't even know where to find her now, but a friend like her can do anything to me and I can't let her go just because of that.

Just like I said from beginning, we grow up in the same street, but I have never taken note of her, we have just been minding our businesses without even knowing if anyone of us exist.

This faithful day, I went to the tap very close to our house to fetch water and there she is fetching her own water. Because she came before me, I had to wait for her to finish fetching water. But later I noticed something: she brought almost all the containers from their house to fetch water. When I saw that I objected that she can't fetch all her containers before allowing me to fetch water. She in turn refused and said that she came before me , so I must wait for her to fetch water everything container she came with before I will fetch my own water. Friends, guess what happened? Hahaha 😄. You should know nah.

I don't need to tell you what happened. She asked for something and she will get it. I picked some of her containers and throw them away to show her that I have to fetch water before she will fill them. She also went on to throw my away. I picked hers again and throw them away, she did same. We did that over and over again. Hahaha 😄. Me, I no dey take last for that kind thing.

The next was the fight that followed. We started fighting. Of course people came around to separate us, but we insisted until when we got tired and stopped fighting by ourselves. You can imagine that can of fight. After that fight, we became enemies. I started stopping her on her way back from school, we did fight a couple of times again and then we stopped fighting.

I don't really know how it all happened, but we suddenly became friends. We just started coming close to each other and then started playing. This was how our friendship started. This friendship lasted until we grew up and all went our separate ways. Among all my friends, she is the only one that I can trust with my life. I can tell her anything then about myself and she will keep it a secret for me. She has never for once betrayed me, same with me. We cherished ourselves so much that we cried bitterly the day we pated ways.

I really missed Christina. She made me know how sweet friendship can be. Ever since we pated ways I have never seen any friend that I can trust like her.
