Being a mediator in other people's problems is a very noble act in my opinion, many people don't want to do it, the reason is because they don't want to interfere in other people's problems. But in my opinion, people arguing actually happens because sometimes they both have problems that are difficult for them to solve, so they have to involve a third person to come up with a good solution.

To be a good mediator, we must do 2 supporting factors, so that both parties can accept it clearly. The first factor, before we comment at length with them, you should first ask what problems they both have, now at this stage you should not only listen to one party but be a good listener for both parties. Second, calm down their conditions and situation without taking sides with anyone, this attitude you must do as well as possible, if you are not fair to both of them of course they will never trust you, and of course the problem will be more difficult to solve between the two parties.

Now talking about the case of being a mediator, I have experienced it, in my family a few years ago, my younger sister had a fight with my older sister's brother, they argued very badly at that time because of a misunderstanding between their respective partners. At that time it happened when I came home, and I watched it, after listening to them arguing I started to take a deep breath, then dismissed their argument and invited them to have a chat to resolve this issue. We chatted for a very long time, took about 2 hours 30 minutes, they had a lot to say and after hearing both I found a solution and called their partner to clarify the issue. As a result, it turned out that this matter was a misunderstanding between the two of them. They're not shy about apologizing to each other and hugging at the same time, well after that incident, they're even closer now, I'm really happy with this. It turns out that being an intermediary is a very beautiful thing. So don't be afraid to do good, greetings from me @arasiko.

The truth is that to be a mediator is not easy, it requires an unbiased mind to be able to listen to 2 stories and determine what really caused the issue, sometimes it's just a small misunderstanding

You have done a great job of clearing up the mis-understanding of both of them. Because if you didn't get it done then, maybe that little misunderstanding would have grown big over time.

You done a great job💕

You're right, beautiful. If at that time I didn't mediate with them, maybe they would have a fight :(.

Thanks for the visit :)

It is really a noble act to reconcile disputes. I really love the two factors you suggested, they are very powerful. Without knowing what happens you would not be able to give a proper solution and every mediator should always be smart enough to calm down the situation on ground and not stirring it up again.

I agree with you. Being a mediator we must also be fair, not impartial.

Thank you for your visit :)

Being a mediator is a noble act indeed because it is a choice. You can decide to ignore the conflicting parties and it would be no skin off your back. That is what makes it noble.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

It's not easy to be a mediator, because the person must have an unbiased mind and must also be calm to listen to both parties. Nice write up!
