The language I'll love to learn

Good day great hive minds, I'll love to think that everyone is fine, happy and doing well ♥️☺️

Everyone sure has a language they speak to make it possible to interact with people around them.
Staying in a country like Nigeria with up to 250 ethnic groups, you can imagine how many languages that's gonna be spoken. I'm sure there are up to 500 languages in the list to be spoken. Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba and English are the most popular languages in the country and I can't boldly score 3/4 lol.... that's because I can only speak English and the Igbo language which I'm quite proud of because it wasn't easy learning the Igbo language 😩.

I feel very jealous when I see people who are multilingual, especially those who can speak more than three 😩.... There's a class mate of mine who speaks 5 different languages (Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, French, and English) and I keep asking her howwwww? Though she spent most of her life at Gabon but it takes me aback on how she managed to speak the three major ethnic languages in Nigeria.

The language I want to learn
Learning a new language is not an easy step but taking a step is the most important, I've always loved "french" and I wanna learn how to speak french. To be honest, I don't know how my love for french developed but I'm obsessed with french. I had a roommate in my 100 level who was a french student and she frequently used the language which made me love it more. Their pronunciation is very different from English especially the additions in the "R" and "Sion" lol.

One reason I wanna learn french is because, as a sociology student, most of the founding fathers are french and their writings are mostly in french,and I feel like even if these writings are being translated in English, not everything is translated and sometimes, you have to translate some of their writings yourself.
Another reason is their movies, they have really nice movies and I always have to keep my eyes glued to the subtitles 😒 and miss out on some fun facial reactions and the rest.

I also wanna visit Paris....my dream city 😩. I've had so many childhood plans of visiting Paris someday, don't know how long it's gonna take but I know it won't take long 😊.
Learning french will be so lovely and helpful to me and I know it☺️♥️.
