Persistency is one of the attribute to being successful in life
Being persistent can help us get many things done but unfortunately many people lack this quality, they want to reap the fruit of the tree they just planted which has not even started germinating not to talk of producing fruit...
I have introduced some people to the hive blockchain and their lack of patience and persistency just also demotivated me from encouraging them to continue because i know even if they listen to me at first, they will still end up leaving because they only want good time, they don't want to face the bad times at all.....
As we all know the good times on hive is when you are getting good upvote on your post, when people engage with you on your blog, when the price of hive pump, all this makes hivers happy and the bad times are the days of cent or even zero on your post, days of dip and no engagement from others, to crown it all, downvote from whales can be really heartbroken!
I introduced a guy to the hive platform and on his first introductory post, he got around 68 dollars, he was happy and even cashed out the money immediately the seven days was over, he is a good writer judging at how he composed his gaming post, some of his post also did great as well but after that, he started getting less support and hence he also started losing interest, he stopped posting after a while, came back after few month to drop one more post and left completely....
I explained to him how hard it is to get support as a newbie and why consistency can help him in the long run but he was super lucky and was doing so well when he started that he forgot my words on how it is hard for newbie...
One thing i realize is that, persistency is not something you can force on people, if a person lack such attribute, nothing you do can make them tread that path and they will always want fast result and success does not work that way...
As a hiver, there will be a good and bad days, rejoice on the good days and learn to cope with the bad days, that is how life is... The journey can't always be smooth but as long as we don't give up, we will overcome every obstacles found on our way to the top.
The result of being dedicated and persistent does not show up immediately we start but at the end , the fruit is always massive!

Being persistent is working and never giving up, but you know there will be reward later. Now is the moment to keep going and taking the steps and by the time it yields the best for you, you will come to see how each step you took did make sense.

If there is anything I have learnt in this Hive is persistent, I was never the type that have long patience for something but staying here I have learnt alot.
Some people will never make it here not because they don't know how to write bit because they are impatient. I have some friends who came in just for the money and when the stop getting upvote they left.
