Week 10 is going really well and many of them have written their best posts on this week's contests. There are a lot of interesting titles for contestants this week and I think a lot of them are interested in entering the contests because of that.
This time we have arrived at the 3rd edition in this 10th week. As previously announced, the title of this contest is about the freedom to speak and express our thoughts about what we feel. Indeed, as we already know, that in this very advanced era we have been able to speak freely. We are free to express something wherever we want. And they are also restricted in the things they will say, therefore in this contest I also have to give my opinion on this, so listen carefully.

Talking and expressing something is a right for someone to express how they feel about something. Free speech is something that should not be prohibited when viewed from its usefulness, namely to express feelings for someone, but even so, we have been silenced and not given the right to express any words. The right to speak is a right that can be owned by everyone the same as the right to live, without being able to express feelings, we will not know the condition of a person, and their purpose for speaking and expressing feelings is to be able to express or even criticize a party, maybe about performance and other matters belonging to that party.
Maybe if in the colonial era and slavery in the past, we were not allowed to criticize them even though the actions they did were wrong, but in this new era, slavery and colonialism have been abolished and we can talk freely about something or something. against a party. It's actually a really good thing, and with that we can feel what they're feeling and sometimes there's really good ideas and ideas in them, and that's a really good thing.

The development for speaking and giving ideas has been very good and many media provide facilities for this. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on are media used by some people or activists to talk freely about something they feel. They can also share their talks and ideas with various people through these social media and it will spread in an instant.
However, not all things are free to talk about, there are things that absolutely should not be discussed and some are free to talk about. Sensitive matters should not be discussed arbitrarily on social media and in various media because it will lead to some different perceptions from various people and misunderstandings are things that often occur because of this carelessness. The things that are meant are about the government system of a country, the ugliness of a country, people, or other individuals, including various kinds of secrets and things that are taboo to talk about, these things should not be disclosed in any media.
Freedom of speech is talking about things that are natural to talk about, such as something that is felt by everyone, problems that occur in an area, or something that is known to everyone. Freedom of speech and expressing feelings is also a boomerang for us, because there are parties who take advantage of this to spread false news or hoaxes among the public, as a result, many of the people are consumed by talk and misunderstandings occur. and this is one of the negative effects of the system of freedom to speak and give ideas about something.

I really remember the 70-80s in Indonesia were very dark times related to this. We shouldn't talk about anything about governance, about the conditions of our own country, or things that are going on. Indonesia has become very sensitive even to its own citizens because criticizing and talking about the government is wrong and is considered to be rebellious against the government.
However, from a system like this, I can see its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage that can be obtained from this system is that there are no hoaxes that spread, let alone hoaxes against governments, individuals or groups. From this system also many secrets are well kept, there are no misunderstandings and people won't criticize without going in and seeing it from the inside and this is very good for those things.
The disadvantage of this freedom system is that there are a lot of hoaxes circulating, everyone has their own right to talk about it, they are free to express things that they think deserve to be shared, and sometimes they don't know what they're talking about. There are many misunderstandings depending on which media we believe in and this of course becomes a battlefield for various media and we as victims, no healthy news is also one of the negative effects of this system of freedom and it is rampant in this day and age.

Apart from the disadvantages, this system also has many advantages including many people who are satisfied and happy because they can express their feelings and ideas, of course if the idea is positive, the idea will spread quickly. The existence of better problem solving, and intense discussion makes decision making and solving a problem faster and of course this is a very good thing.

The conclusion is that it depends on ourselves, we must use freedom of speech to talk and discuss for a problem solving, and things that are more positive than using it to spread hoaxes and try to vilify a party. We must be very wise in speaking, must not bring one party down in order to make the other party proud, keep a secret, and keep talking about positive things. If we don't use this freedom of speech properly, then we will one day return to an era where we can no longer speak freely.
