All Hope Is Not Lost, Robot And AI Attack
All Hope Is Not Lost, Robot And AI Attack
Technology is no doubt one of the biggest things that has happened to mankind, in our day, almost everything is made very easy. Things that ordinarily are expected to be impossible or burdensome are now made possible and not just possible but possible with excellence.
Technology has affected almost every field today in a good way. One thing I love about this development is that it is improving daily.
There was a certain time when tailors sewed with just needles and threads, then gradually a manual sewing machine came in and today we have Emel, an electric sewing machine. All one needs to do is cut your materials put them at the right spot in the machine and match the pedal and your work will come out neat.
Clothes that should take three hours to sew can be sewn in an hour, what an advantage. In most fields, there are machines like that, making work less strenuous and it's a beautiful thing.
But they say "Everything that has an advantage also has a disadvantage," gradually technology is moving to a phase where these machines designed to help man don't necessarily need a man to operate them anymore, all they want is to get instructed and that's it.
Sounds cool right? but that means we will be losing our jobs to these machines. Obviously, robots and AI are a threat to our jobs. I know they were made with good intentions but they will take food away from our tables if the world decides to embrace them completely.
Truth be told, these machines have a double advantage over man, is it speed, accuracy, or excellence? Name it, they have double it. Competing with them is almost impossible. Probably the only advantage we have above them is they need to be charged, they are expensive and they can spoil. But you know these are only a problem for a poor man. To the rich, it's nothing.
What Will Do if Robots and AI Take Over the Labor Market
This question is a very difficult one to answer, if Robots take over the Labor market what can we really do? We all know that machines can do almost everything. So which field would you even run to?
It sounds almost like a dead end, but they say "There is always a way out." Who knows, the situation might pave the way for us to look deep on our side and bring out those gifts that have been buried within us.
If you have what the world has never seen, or what it has seen before but you presented it in a way the world has never seen, you will surely command people's attention.
Robots and AI might make things difficult for us, but we are humans, we made those machines, and we can always beat them. It will only require us to work harder, build ourselves, and come out with something different.
The machines are intelligent, Yes, but their work can not be compared with that of men. We are bound to make mistakes, yes, but when you relate with the work of man, you will feel the connection compared to that of robots that only obey instructions but lack emotions.
No matter what happens, even if robots are everywhere today, the services of men who have prepared themselves enough will still be needed.
Absolutely
But come to think of it
The presence of robots and AI has made a lot of youths who are conversant with it so lazy that they only relent on this so-called robot and AI to carry out their very own task.
Gone are those days when men go on research and critical thinking in order to bring forth solutions to problems.
These days our libraries in schools are just there for fashion.
I second to what you said
Machines are intelligent but their work can't be compared to that of men.
Seriously, the side effect of these machines on mankind is huge. I wonder what would be of the next generation with this lazy attitude of a thing. People no longer want to go through stress to get things done.
Thank God for platform like hive, Anything AI generated is strongly frowned upon, you have to exercise your brains to get things done. It's cheating to just go to a machine and generate write up or designs, when someone out there spends hours to come up with something .
Machines can replace man but I don't think they can ever do it better 😁😁
Thanks for the beautiful comments boss
I Concord with you. Even if the number of robots outweighs human beings I believe there's no any perfect substitute for human anywhere. AI can't reason like human instead act based on the programmed content.
Exactly sir, the machines can be unique but they can't replace man.
There's no way that robotswill be able to take away the jobs of humans? who created these robots? us!
this means we know and can do better then them.
That is my point ma, we made them, we can do even far greater things if we bend ourselves to it
That’s right
I have always said that technology should be at our service, we humans should not be at the service of it. We have to be careful, technology is feeding on our experiences as humans, that's why AI is so skilled. But one thing I doubt they will ever have is feelings and that is why it becomes dangerous.
Productivity is important in all areas, but there must be that human touch that makes things differentiate in production and not that massification in which all products are the same.
Humans will always be required whether machines take over everything. The rate at which people are patronizing those machines these days is becoming something to worry about but it is well, we will always find out ways through
Robots are meant to support our shortcomings in some aspect and not to take over. I believe that there will still be rooms where human bands will be needed to do certain things.
Exactly ma, the machines were made to aid us and not to replace us. Replacing is possible but it will be difficult because human services will always be required
You are very correct here. We are the ones who made these machines, so they are subject to spoil until we repair them again. Robots or AI, even though they have some advantages which makes things easier for us, they still cannot do what humans can do. They have their limitations too.
The really have limitations ma, without man, those machines can do nothing. So our services will still be required
There is always that connection between the work of man and that of machine, you must just relate. We have greatly moved from the formal way of doing things to the modernized ways which is faster
That is it ma, when it's the work of man, there is always that connection compared to robots
How about we see a brighter aspect of this?
You know there's actually no rule that states that we can't coexist right... It could actually be possible there ought to be a way we exist together and then make the world a far much more better place.
You make a point here, we can coexist mad make things better . And I think that's what will happen someday
Yes bro

If a robot takes over then people will be on the street begging for their daily lives to survive because most people will lose their jobs and things will be hard
It will be very bad, we don't pray for anything like that to happen sha
I believe it is time for us as humans to begin to think creatively how to remain productive in this era of AI and robots. So, I agree with you that only men who have prepared themselves will still be needed as the days progress.
#dreemerforlife from #dreemport
If we prepare ourselves too well, those machines can't win the fight.. thanks for stopping by
I think finding an edge where robots may find it hard if not impossible to get into is a viable way to not be replaced by them in terms of our job. There's indeed always a way out, sometimes, this could mean being creative and adaptable.
You got my point sir, there's always a way out..
