Unfair Treatments Make Us More Stronger.

A lot of times I sit down and wonder why it seems as though life is fair to some individuals and unfair to others. What one person is dissipating his energy to get, is what another is out there wasting. Some people barely eat two square meals, others throw food away.

Two people go for an interview, the one who seemed to be more qualified fails and the one with low grade passes. I have heard a lot of people make crazy statements like "We just came to accompany others in this life." My friend will always say " Why is it that when it gets to his turn things go bad," LoL. Sometimes I laugh over such statements and other times it gets through to me.

Honestly, life is unfair, but it's not just unfair to you alone, it's unfair to everyone in the world in different ways. You think others are just too lucky in life, everything works for them and you are suffering, get close to them and you would be shocked when they open up about how life is treating them badly. You are not the only one suffering, even Elon Musk has areas where life is being unfair to him.

Left to me, things like that happen to sharpen us. Whenever we are being treated unfairly, it's not to kill us but to build us up. when you finally get to break out of that limitation, you will see that the circumstance, only made you stronger.

A few days ago, my Mom asked me to get her some money from the bank. I had to go to the clinic to receive an injection first because I was not feeling fine.

When I finally got to the bank, I saw a very long queue. I wanted to go back home because I was so exhausted but after calculating the money I spent on transportation to that place I decided to wait.

After I waited for so long, just when it was three persons to my turn, the money was finished in the ATM machine. I sat for some time and stood up to go, while I was just some steps away, a guy called me back that they had just funded the machine.

I was happy to hear that news, I came back and joined the queue, there was an elderly woman behind me, she looked so tired and troubled, that she pled with people to let her withdraw but they refused. When it was my turn, I told her to go ahead and withdraw.

She slotted her card and tried to withdraw but there was no network, we had to wait for some time again, and then a woman came and begged us to try her card out if it was going to work and we all agreed.

She was a carrier of good luck, and it worked, while standing there, the elderly woman went ahead and withdrew, I didn't know the other machines were also funded, so I waited patiently, for her.

While I was yet waiting the man standing behind the woman before I gave her my place came and tried the other machine and it also dispensed.

Tor, I was waiting for her to finish but her transaction seemed to be long, when she finished, just when I was about to go and slot my card, one man just came and pushed me, and put his card.

The woman couldn't bear the sight she said, "This boy has been here for a long, he gave me his place, let him withdraw."

The man said, "The boy is not serious, he has been allowing people to withdraw, he doesn't need money."

I felt so bad but the whole thing became funny. The amazing thing was that those behind him were supporting him, and the man who came to withdraw that caused the problem didn't even talk, he was just concerned about his transaction.

I expected him to tell them, that he was behind me, by right he was eligible to use the other machine since he was behind me and I was waiting for the woman to finish. But he gave us a deaf ear.

I responded to the man, "Sir, things are not done like that, the money in the machine won't run, it's not as if they just came, they have been here, I just felt like letting them withdraw because they are elders, and nothing more."

He started ranting, and people seemed to be on his side. The elderly woman later left. Imagine, I stood in the queue for a long with my health condition and just when I was to withdraw someone came and pushed me away. Is it because I look small or something?

If he had pled with me to withdraw, honestly I was not going to deny him if those behind me would consent, why use force then? I felt so cheated but I had to let it slide, I allowed him to withdraw and I used the other machine for my transaction when the other man finished.

I am someone who doesn't like trouble, I don't know where I and the man would meet in life tomorrow, so, I just have to let things go. Waiting for five or ten more minutes won't kill me. My fear with the other machine which I later used was it swallows cards and the buttons are hard.

Well, I thank God nothing happened, I had a successful withdrawal at the end but the truth is I came home hurt. His words kept eating me up on the way. Something was like, "You should have said something awful to him before leaving," but what change will the awful thing bring? Paying back wrong for wrong only makes things worse.

Thanks For Reading

When it comes making withdrawals in ATMs, some people can be impatient and inconsiderate. The man was unfair to you. He would have at least listened to you before taking any action.

That's life, but impatience will only land us into trouble. If only he had listened. Well, it's a by gone.

Thanks for reading sir❣️

I believe you can't be unlucky in everyday of the month. Yes, life can be unfair.

Bank queue has a lot of people with different mentality, so I make sure I have that concoiusness that I am the only sane person there especially when money is not dispensing so well.

Helping the elderly woman is something I would have done too.

Hehehe, withdrawing money at the ATM can be really funny. People bring their problem from home to mount on anyone who is not smart enough to avoid them.

Thank you for stopping by 🥰

I always have the belief that not everyone is okay on the ATM queue each time I go to use one.

Hehehe, that's a good mindset, it will save you from getting into a fight on the queue

Sorry about this, that was really unfair to you and I can actually imagine how you must have felt. See, some grown ups are just pure bullies and they justify their actions with the fact that they are older. However, I would advise not to always at all time take hurtful things in. Sometimes, you have to just give people a dose of their own medicine.

What if you met him in the future? Life is not always like it is in the movies honestly. I used to tackle most situations like this too, but then, I had to change that mentality. Of course, there are some scenarios where I wouldn't say anything and there are some times I will really pour my mind out. Also, I guess the people supporting him must have made you feel like you did something wrong, I understand for real. There were probably doing that out of frustration, being that they have also been on queue for long.

God bless you for helping those elderly people anyways, and sorry again for how the whole thing turned out.

Hmm, I think I am going to take your advice, I felt so bad at what happened. If I had told him my mind, I would have gone home justified, I know that surely my heart would have received some ventilation 🤣

I agree with you, those supporting him did what they did out of frustration, what they fail to understand was we only switched positions and the people I allowed to withdraw where still ahead of all of them. Either ways they would have withdrawn before then. Well, it's by gone now. Thanks so much for the beautiful comment🥰❣️

This man was behaving so absurd that he was just concerned about his own transaction and didn't value your moral values and your deed.

I am not trying to defend myself but that was so unfair of him. We should not treat people anyhow because we feel we are more than them, it's life, we don't know where we would see each other tomorrow.

Thanks for reading 🥰

I am so sorry for the awful experience you had. Some people are just so inconsiderate in cases like this. It's best to just let them be, let them go with their troubles.

Oh dear, I hope you are getting better?

Anyway, there would always be people like the man. People who say harsh things to others, thinking that their actions wouldn't have repercussions. Such situations can be really hurtful but I would say that you handled it nicely.

Some people can be so heartless hen, after they will blame it on the hardship in the country when they are the devil themselves.

Hehe, that is just it. We treat each other bad but later insult the government. Everyone Is included in what is wrong with the country at the moment.

I'm sorry you were treated like that. One would think with how kindly you treated the old woman, you would be treated just as nicely. But like you said, life is unfair. However, please don't let people override you. This race called life is for the swift. If someone tries to take your place, you stand up and show them why that's a big mistake. Never let someone take what's yours when you can fight back.

I hope you're doing well, Emreal.🌺
