Hi awesome hivers ,
It's another beautiful week again and thank God for the life he has given unto us to be active participant of this great engagement at this moment. To the dynamic and pragmatic leadership of this noble community I salute you all and pray for more wisdom to pilot the affairs.

Week 39 edition 1 opens up with a critical subject that requires every individual to share his or her experiences over this matter. As I always say, life is like a coin with two sides. Sometimes is favourable at times it goes the opposite direction however, one must just equipped himself with all rounder fortifications incase the coin turns any of the side. It may not be possible for one to be happy 24hours.

Hmmm I found it difficult to figure out precisely the things I have quit and others I almost quit too because they're so many it could be habit or something else.
One of the outstanding thing I quit was a habit. There are certain habits that one possesses that won't take an individual somewhere better. There are habits that are very bad which one must just quit it in order to make progress in life. I want to say that habit speaks a lot of an individual. Your habit describes who you're and that's your identity. If it's a bad one, concerted effort must be put in place in order to get rid of such.

I had the challenge of procrastination. The inability not to do the right thing at the right thing and what ought to be done shifting it for next is what I called procrastination. This almost got deep into the fabric of my spirit hence a lifestyle. It has actually reduced my performance and efficiency in getting tasks done. Hmmm because of the damage this has done to me, I called procrastination a more dangerous disease that I have ever known. Most unsuccessful people today are victims of this menace while others that had been able to deliberately deal with it are stars in their world today.

How I quit it.
I know someone reading this might be passing through similar challenges but I hope some of these tips I took would find relevance to you.

  • Have a schedule. I had to schedule all my task from year, to month, to weeks, days. I've been able to organise my schedule into daily tasks and at the end of each I take a review to identify the undone ones. This helps me to eliminate some levels of distraction and have focus in ensuring that a task is achieved before starting the other.
  • Just having a schedule is not enough but one must be disciplined to adhere strictly to the planned schedule. It may not be convenient but just stick to it for at least a month and see the change it will bring. Lack of self discipline can make someone to procrastinate events and take things for granted.
  • Be a good time manager. Always allot time to all your schedule and ensure that all task overlaps. Redeem the time and use it wisely. Don't always encroached into another task when it's not yet time. You can also use alarm from your phone or computer or any gadget.
  • Avoid associating with unproductive friends they ruin and waste your precious time.
  • Have a confident or an elder or any experienced person that could counsel you, guide you and at times rebuke you to ensure that the right thing is done.

See you ahead.
