Hi lovelies on the hive,
I want to appreciate God almighty for sparing our lives and granting us another beautiful opportunity again in this new month. Special thanks to the entire management for their consistency in delivering this contest and for this feat in marking the week 30 of the 1st edition. To all of us participating I salute us and wish us well.

what is fear?

I felt the need to simply add my voice to this theme with some explanation to the basic concepts.
Fear is an emotional expression of thread or an unknown.
Fear is an expression of uncertainties.
W.F Kumuyi defines fear as False Evidence Appears Real.
Fear is not normally real but it just creates an environment where an individual is limited to take steps. There are factors that breeds fear which includes low self esteem, lack of confidence etc. Fear is a natural instincts that every one is vulnerable to.

Have I been scared before?

Yes I have. I don't think there's any one under the surface of the earth that hasn't been scared before in one way or the other. Fear is natural.

My little experience

As I said earlier, everyone has the potential to exhibit fear based on the circumstances. I have been scared times without number however I will like to share one of the scenes. When I finished my secondary school final exams, I was scared of what the future holds for me especially how the results would be? And which school would I go?
Amongst several questions these ones kept running through my mind.

When you don't have a clear picture of tomorrow, fear becomes inevitable. When you think about the sponsorship hmmm fear overwhelm one.

How did I overcome it?

One of the first thing to be done is to identify the fear. I now looked for relevant books and read which transformed my thinking and enable me to take rightful decision. I also received good counsel from my elders that had gone ahead of me. They encourage me on how to face the unknown. Their practical life experiences was real that inspired me to be optimistic. Gradually I worked on myself and today I am taking risk to ensure that I have a fulfilled destiny.
