How To Beat The Subconscious Plagiarist In You.

20221216_141607_0000.png

Contenting is one of the most difficult things, especially when you're trying to be original in selling a unique perspective. I have worked jobs that required uniqueness to sell products or knowledge that are redundant. Firstly, the salaries were not a motivation because they weren't that decent, so what's the incentive to be unique? Nothing

Being unique is something people shouldn't be incentivized to do and this is because our lives, the various forms of knowledge being that are conferred to us might be generic, but the moment we digest them, we're recycling them into something different, from our perspectives, style, experience and modus operandi, irrespective of how we're taught to be objective in our assessment.

It's like being paid to be diverse.

It's already in our DNA

This is to say that our minds are powerful processors. When it comes to creating value in exchange for money, the best way to do it is to mix the knowledge we've garnered over time with our perspective, our experiences, and our stories.

For example, I am a finance creator,* but before now, I have created different forms of content in which I've excelled at, but the truth is what has made me a decent Finance Creator was the unwavering consciousness of the money experiences in my life coupled with contemporary knowledge, I've garnered from education and being self-taught. This wasn't so in the past.

On Hive, everyone knows that plagiarism is frowned upon

.....and even if it isn't, I feel that we're differently gifted so much that even if everyone was doing the same thing, it'll still be possible to see diversity in sameness.

Even If We're Naturals, We Need Nurturing.

I know that when money is at stake a lot of people doubt their ability to replicate value. There are many criminal reasons why people plagiarize, but of them which is quite different, is underestimating what they're capable of doing. In the world at the moment, people are now being paid for what others do not know that they know.

We live in a world where people who created and add usable value are better incentivized. This is to say that life is more rewarding to people who are outrightly innovative to a valuable level.

I've seen people land good jobs because of their different and "out of the box" way of thinking, this isn't to say I'm too surprised because if we're to tap into our capabilities, we'd discover that we can hon our mental capacities to do the unthinkable.

Plagiarism Isn't In Our natur

Thievery is

However, the fact that we can naturally create value, doesn't mean we can do it effortlessly. Exposure is of of the best ways to create knowledgeable experiences. There are things people do on hive that blocks creativity and one of them is to be subconsciously plagiarist in nature.

Over the years I've taken to playing splinterlands and creating photography content, this has fostered me to create extra niches for myself asides from creating finance content. Now playing splinterlands may not be overly rewarding, but I created a niche around it so much that anyone who started reading my splinterlands' posts from day one would've come to know how to play the game to an extent.

The Ability To Teach Is Somewhat Rewardable

This was one of the reasons why I don't check the stats of the investment, whether I'm losing or gaining, or if it's been eventually worth it. The fact that the experience brings me a different expandable knowledge which I've come to monetize for one year is really good enough.

This is the same with creating original Images, or owning original photos, (I'll share some of them here.) It's not just about being able to create these images, it's about them acting as a secondary form of niche which I can explore anytime. It's important to understand that we have to be expandable and this is what creates the needed exposure that's necessary especially in our content-creating journey.

A lot of thoughts were raised here and they are all correct. This:

the best way to do it is to mix the knowledge we've garnered over time with our perspective, our experiences, and our stories.

I was talking to a group of newbies about attempting to publish in LEO finance and the first objection was that they cant right finance and crypto articles. I expected that. I know. But then, I started asking them questions on natural use of money day-to-day and we were amazed at the amount of Finance knowledge they have. So they saw my point.

Natural experiences are one of the best way to create a truly unique content. Knowledge (fortunately we all have some forms of it no matter our academic exposure) is something we add to the experience to bring another dimension to unique originality.

We are just capable of doing being unique which is why I see plagiarism as more difficult to being original

Thanks for your thoughts, you're right.
wrote this content about three to four weeks ago and just decided to get it out of my archive to post today. My point is that I decided it was really bad today. Writing finance is one of the easiest things especially when it comes to personal and day-to-day finance. There are things many people know but sometimes the ability to put them into writing becomes a problem. However it is not different. Inasmuch as the ability to speak and write out two different things, it is possible to covert our thoughts into writing and get better as we keep trying everyday.
I hoping these newbies under your tutelage will be up and doing in no time.

I hoping these newbies under your tutelage will be up and doing in no time.

Sure the vast majority are doing the right things and are growing.

Two in the group, though not my direct recruits, made plagiarism mistakes and they now understand the consequences. Now they appreciate my earlier warnings to the general group. Originality is far more easier.

it is possible to covert our thoughts into writing and get better as we keep trying everyday.
Again, this is true even for someone with no formal education. The desire to excel and the level of commitment to learning is all that matters.

BTW, hope you are managing the day well?

BTW, hope you are managing the day well?

I haven't gotten back to fully being here, I just have a lot to deal with physically and psychologically, but I thank God.

but I thank God.

The most important thing was said above. We are ever grateful at any point in time. And its great to realize that our situation is not the worst ever. Of course, you (and all of us) can overcome all challenges eventually. Stay strong!!!

I think specialization is a boring journey and you eventually encounter a ceiling despite going deeper and deeper into the subject/topic. I personally experienced how knowledge of alternate subject/topics enriches the main topic/subject and opens up a new dimension of understanding. Most creators/artist are knowledgeable in 2 or more subjects apart from their main subject.

It's even more important to be Knowledgeable or vast in other fields apart from the ones we major in, due to the diversity of the opportunities in the world, plus it helps us fit in. We never can tell where opportunities would come from.

It's very hard trying to be a unique person and actually trying to make a unique article. But what choice does one have than to ensure he does the best and be unique

It's really not difficult to be unique, just have to tap into oneself and discover what we can do, bo human being is bad at everything.

You have said well my friend, plagiarism truly is not in our nature, we all have various perspectives as you emphasize in your post.
I truly support this notion, that no matter how generic knowledge might be understanding always differ from person to person, I really appreciate you for reminding me this, love to see your next post

Well, I'm glad you got to agree, plagiarism Isn't really in our nature, unless we choose to imbibe laziness and thievery

Being unique and standing out tends to be quite tough. To most people, it just looks like following the same road as someone else is easier but I do agree that plagiarism is bad. Stealing someone's work is never right and it's fine to be yourself. I find that LeoFinance doesn't need to be a place where you need to be the complete expert and people are always looking for different opinions.
