The very first time i spent my money on something : A day i won't forget.

During my secondary school days i used to be very brilliant so in that case my Dad will always pay for everything i need and that's because of my seriousness in everything so when i got to my final year in secondary school and it's time to write my WAEC (western African examination council) , I did that for the first time in year 2010 and i failed it all one of the important of this waec is that without it you won't be able to further your education in the university , i let that year slide and moved unto year 2011 in this year i collected my WAEC form and sit for the examinations after some months the results came out and i failed again and at this point i got frustrated but my dad doesn't relent and he told me that i should collect another one that same year and that is WAEC G.C.E (general certificate examination) and this is done for people who doesn't have time for the real WAEC so it's more or less like a private examination, so collecting this i sat for it again in year 2011 and i read very well so i won't fail for the third time but guess what happened.

I failed again for the third time and i imagine myself as the father spending on a son who keep failing, believe me sincerely i could not take it again this 3rd time i was broken 💔 and all sought of a things i could not even smile eat or do anything for days because i know how brilliant I'm but then here in Nigeria you might be so brilliant and still not pass this examination because most of the time it's by luck 🤞, at this junction my parents did not talk anything bad they just keep telling me i can do it but then I'm ashamed of myself so i decided not to enroll for another examination and take some break.

And yes i took a break throughout that year and make sure i read and pray very well and this is where the first thing i ever use my money to get comes in after the long break i promise myself not to collect money from my parents this time around so i decided to go and work so hard to get money so i can use it to collect the form for the examination, luckily for me i got a friend that introduce me to a work and i started that work and pile up the money for two months i could not even touch the money nor use it to eat or buy anything, so i use this money in year 2012 to re collect the WAEC GCE form at this point i prayed so well to God and read very well and i could not tell my parents i use my money to collect it because they will want to refund me.

To cut the long story shot i sat for the examination in year 2012 and after so many months of the examination i was told the the results is out and on that very good day i went to go and check my results it's was a day i will never forget because i had a very good grades in all my results and till this moment i still remember that day, on getting home i narrate the story for my parents and they were so happy i did it after 2years of trying and failed 3 times.

This is the little story of the first thing i use my money to buy.
