INSOMNIA: CAN'T FALL ASLEEP YET I FEEL SLEEPY 😴 😴 🀦🀦πŸ₯±πŸ₯±

I can't believe I have been awake for a whole 12 hours without sleeping, I have never tried to deprive myself of sleep because I respect this part of nature and whenever I feel a little bit tired or weak, I don't hesitate to lie on my bed and rest for a while but yesterday's case was just so different and extraordinary...

I deprive myself of sleep only when the need arises or during special occasions and whenever I finish the allocated task, I lie on my bed and sleep comes and take me away for a long tien, at most I spend about 8 hours daily for sleeping until this second time it happened again...

The first time I experienced this was when I went for a vigil, it was an album launching night and it lasted from 10 PM - 6 AM the following day, we were not allowed to sleep as different invited accordionist where invited to play and that was how I spent good seven hours in the church and on getting home my eyes were heavy and I couldn't sleep...

I was very tired, weak and sleepy but whenever I try to sleep, I wake up in 30 minutes which isn't enough for me, I wake up feeling drowsy and inactive but I couldn't sleep any longer and I was left with headaches and body Pains which lasted some days before it finally left me and yesterday was another phase...

Yesterday was a praise night in one of my churches and as an invited guests, my friend and I decided to grace their invitation by showing up, thinking we would be starting around 10 am the usual time and we finish up 3 am, I realised that we were starting the praise night at exactly 12 pm but fortunately it started 11 pm ...

In a banner laid outside, it says 5 HOURS OF PRAISE, and we started the programme, come and see dancing and singing, everybody came with their dancing shoes and I wasn't also left behind, we all danced and danced and the mic was been handed over to different song ministers...

We spent 2 hours dancing and singing and slowly I realised my body was getting tired and weak and I rested a bit, the second leg started again and after three hours, my body was starting to feel week, I need to rest and it was at this moment sleep started coming in and we tried our best to not sleep in the church and we went out and took fresh air...

My friends it didn't work, the sleep attacking us was like an evil spirits lol 🀣🀣🀣, we fought hard and joined the dancing for another round and lasted for 4 hours and thinking we will be done in an HOUR time to make it 5 hours, we tried to not sleep by using our phones....

I remember I was engaging in the church while dancing and singing at the same time because I needed something to keep me busy and also to prevent me from sleep or dozing off, I didn't sleep throughout the previous day until the next day...

I was online with @nkemakonam89 @b0s @justfavour @vickoly and co and that made me more active in engaging...

I was still engaging when all this people went to bed and they all woke up and still met me engaging, we endured and fought hard and the praise night lasted for 6 hours 30 minutes instead of 5 hours...

Immediately they shared the grace, can you believe that the almighty sleep that was disturbing my friend and I varnished immediately, Devil at work lol 🀣 and we couldn't sleep again but we were tired but the sleep was gone...

I thought all that was just for a moment until I got home and still couldn't sleep, i laid down on the bed and sleep wasn't coming, I was tired, feeling body pains and headache but I couldn't fall asleep and I was forced to question myself why I can't fall asleep???....

I couldn't find an answer, I have been up since yesterday night up untill this moment and I haven't spent 1 hour 30 minutes on sleeping and I am still tired and sleepy but I can't fall asleep....

I am just fed up, my eyes are all heavy, sour and I am slowly feeling weak and inactive but I cant sleep but I want to sleep and it's just isn't coming...

In summary, I think I will go stay under the shower for hours and I will try again if I will fall asleep, I am open to any kind of suggestion that will help get a good sleep, I need a good sleep to function well and effectively...

Now my body feels weird and I feel like a zombie looking all worn out without enough restπŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”...

In conclusion, if you have any remedy please just slide into my comment section below and tell me what to use or what method to apply to get a good and effective sleep, my eyes are heavy and I have been rinsing my eyes to type clearly...

I sometimes experienced that, would keep tossing myself to bed. Change to hundreds of positions just to feel comfortable and fall asleep.
My mind was so sleepy but those eyes won't.
Usually happens when my insomnia attacks of got too much coffee before bedtime

Yes, I've had bouts of insomnia too. They say that if you expose yourself too much to light from a computer or phone screen, it can disrupt your ability to sleep.
