Creative Sunday:crocheting 🧶rose

Hello hivers!Hope you all are doing good.How was your Sunday. Today I am going to share the process of making a rose on creative Sunday.

Actually my university was close for 4 days because of the 23rd march parade rehearsals.So I thought I should not waste it sleeping all day.I thought I should crochet something for creative Sunday.
so I opened youtube and took the inspiration of a rose.Beacause it also compliment the season of spring.

Material used

• crochet hook
• pink and green yarn 🧶
• needle 🪡

The process

1-Double crochet 160 chains.

2-Then start making the pattern.I don't know how to explain (apologies).First you have to make the zig zig pattern for flower petals.

3-Make the same pattern for 23 chains.And leave 9 chains without the petal pattern.

4-Now on the 9 chains you have to make the leaves.Crochet the leaves.

5-For the end you have to roll the chain upon itself to get a flower as shown in video.
6-Then sew it with needle.🪡

7-And ta-da you have a cute rose.

This was the process.Hope you like it.
This was my first time making something out of yarn.Though I was interested in crochet but never tried it.
