Somehow, today was very stressful for me, I had a very busy day from the very beginning. Let me start this blog by sharing with you my day's activities but it would be hard to talk about today without saying a bit about yesterday.
After spending about 8 hours in church rehearsals yesterday, I got home past 7 pm to prepare for a meeting with Hive Bootcamp cohort 3 members which were to hold at 7:30 pm. I was not the main speaker of the meeting but being the host, I had to grace my presence. @olujay was the instructor of the day and he was taking classes on 3speak and engagement.
I had to leave the meeting 5 minutes earlier to plan for the meeting I had with the newbies in the Newbies Initiative program. I didn't get the time to plan for it though but what I wanted to talk about was an article I wrote months back which I felt would not be something really hard to do.
The meeting with the newbies started at 8:00 pm sharp, I was surprised by the turnup of the newbies. They were about 18 newbies present for the meeting out of 25 participants. It gave me the energy I needed to share knowledge and answer more questions even though I was tired and hungry.

I had first thought the meeting would not take more than 20 mins due to how tired I was and the task I needed to do ahead but somehow, the meeting lasted for over 1hr 30mins. I ended up talking about more than the primary topic of discussion and was answering general questions about Hive.
As soon I was done, I had to find a way to compress the video with my system because the recording was so large. It took 2 hours to compress which I had to wait for so I could upload it to 3speak as soon as it was done. At the same time, I had to spend some time creating the post for the first task on the @newbies-hive account. Thanks to @hopestylist, she made my work easier and faster by helping me with suggestions for the task questions. My brain was stressed so I could not process a lot again. I was done with everything relating newbie's initiative task when it was 2 am early in the morning.
I had to give myself a 2hours nap so that I could wake up by 4 am to prepare for church, and practice the songs that would be sung during service. The call time for workers and instrumentalists is 6:30 pm but I managed to get to church by 6:40 pm.

It was a special service so the service took longer than usual but it ended by 11:30 pm. On a norm, the service ends at 10:30 pm. I was planning on travelling to Lagos immediately for a studio session by 4 pm, so I left immediately after taking some pictures snapped by @t-gold.

It took me 3 hours to get to my destination. I was there 30 minutes earlier which gave me little time to rest before the session started. The session lasted for another 2 hours which ended at 6 pm. At this point, I was already feeling pain in my chest and the need to sleep.

I got home by past 7 pm and crashed on my bed immediately. Without notice, I dozed off and woke up 3 hours later to begin working on some things and replying to pending messages on WhatsApp. Now it's almost 1 am as I write this article. I need to go to bed and give my body some rest, so I am signing out now. If you read to this point, Thank you!

Oh my my!! What a stressful way to end the weekend and begin a new week. I don't know but I feel like you are a super star more like superman though π. I don't know how you manage to get so many tasks done just in the space of 24 hours, it is really impressive but...
Well, if I want to say anything it will be, "Starstrings rest more often" but hey, that's the me that think I care but then, I understand that you are doing all of these so you can have a bright future so I just can say well done and I pray God continues to give you the strength to continue being a super star (superman) so you don't fall sick.

Smiles.. I am goal driven, so my goals give me strength even when there are no reason to be. It is not easy, as I make a lot of sacrifice to get what I want and what I sacrifice the most is my sleep.
One day would come that I would have all the time in the world to sleep and would not have to put all the effort I am putting by God's grace. I believe that day would come.
Sure, your days of resting are sure going to come because you are working hard now and when it comes you won't have to stress yourself too much as you do nowπ.

Yeah that is how my life is daily. I like it because I always have something doing and cannot find myself idle. This doesn't make me feel in anyway bored because I love what I do but sometimes, I feel stressed at times.

How did you compound all this activities together and attend to them all...I see multi tasking difficult for men honestly... they're strategically built to undergo tasks on at a time... but you proved otherwise...

I won't lie, it is difficult for me. Sometimes, I just try to do one thing at a time. but most of it all, I thank God for the grace to complete most of my tasks because it is not easy.
So what I do is I make goals every morning after my morning prayers. These goals are what I want to complete that day and work towards it. It is not all the time that I complete all but at least, I have a plan of what I want to do and it prevents me from unnecessary procrastination.

Brother, you have been through quite a lot in the last week. Firstly, I'd like to appreciate you for doing what you did for me. I was to be with you to go through the whole rigors with church, but things happened and I couldn't be there. Thank you for staying. You could have as well left when I did and had more time for yourself.
