Coping With Stress

We all know how tough the world keeps getting. Everything just keeps getting worse and it's as if there is no end in sight to the struggles. How do you cope with all the stress? Feel free to share some tips with us.

Yea the world keeps getting tougher and tougher everyday, things are hard, especially when have clocked 18, you are literally responsible for your life and we'll being as well, it gets worse when you are trying to be independent and not a leech.
How do you go about this?🤔 definitely the answer is getting a job
Let me use myself as an example. I am a young adult and I partially don't rely on anyone for what I need. I do everything thing for myself, I buy everything for myself and that can only happen when I have money and how do I get money? by getting a job.
Fine ! I had gotten a job and here comes a truck load of stressssssssssss
I got a teaching job to teach the babies and the toddlers and you know how energy sucking it could be. From teaching to feeding them, to taking them to the loop, to washing their messed up clothes, to holding their hands to write to petting them when the cry for 7-8 hours daily 🥴, that's do exhausting and the pay is not even worth the stress buh I had to do it just to keep beating my bills. With this I can't even save.
Few months later I got home tutorials for three kids and the pay was yummy and I had to go there three times daily. I was quite happy buh devastated as well.
I wake up as early as 5:00am, try to tidy up and leave for work , most times I go without breakfast, close after 8hours and I am already drained. I would pick my baby sister at school, drop her at home the zoom off for the home tutorials, spend atleast 2hours there with them.
So let me say I closed at 7:30 three times a weeks. Now the other days in the week I go for church functions and rehearsals so you see my whole week is always filled up
Of course Saturdays are for house chores and laundry, sunday's are for church services.

So with all these on my plate, I was totally drained, emmanciating everyday as well, my whole body system was not functioning as well as I had no chance to even treat my self
The stress treated me badly coz I had no proper time to rest. I sleep and 11:00pm or 12 and I get to wake as early as 5am.
Why all of these because I needed money so badly to foot my bills buh I wasn't taking care of myself.

How do you cope with all the stress?

Well I am a young girl with no parents an I need to keep going and do something meaningful for my life and quitting my job wasn't the best option for me buh reshuffling the whole thing and re arranging it was necessary.

So for the last school session
I started by treating myself during the easter holiday, I rested a bit and when the school session begun here is what I did

I reduced my home tutorials to two
I made sure I cleaned I tidied the house as well as prepare food for the next day, package it and put in the freezer so that when I wake the next morning I would warm my food take shower and zoom off.

After school hours I will head home as early as possible then sleep for about 2hours before any other even for the day as well as sleep early too.and how could I achieve this ? by multi tasking so that I get to finish all chores almost at the same time and retire early to bed.
My boss at work is not and easy one tooo, he keeps everyone their toes buh while my children are relaxing, I too will relax for closely 30mins.

For me I think enough rest really works for me. I could literally freeze most things on my schedule just to rest, I mean the world won't end if I don't do those things.
This particular session I have taken a lot of time to rest and I have been able to eat well and my health has been really sound.

My stress relief is rest, enough rest and lots of water and could also try arranging yourself and schedule for the day, like preparing your clothes on time getting your shoes ready and other stuffs etc.

Other ways to to manage stress is

  1. Doing things you love doing most like swimming, biking, going out with friends maybe to see a movie or shopping just something that is fun.
  2. Getting a worthy spa
  3. find quiet and peace. Yes during this period you get to meditate, not thinking.
  4. Embrace a healthy lifestyle especially what you eat and drink

Stress maybe really hard to cope with and one can mostly cope when they at least have something or someone to encourage them through the stress period. Reading from your writing, I'm glad to hear that you are at least doing well. Secondly,
