starry night (elvish flower macros)

My wife had a strong desire to decorate a few deadwood stumps that we have at our site.

So... We obtained this flower two weeks ago at the local market. And thats why I used the #marketfriday tag. The challenge I always want to join but always postpone for later :) So, this is not a quality post about the flower market -- just some pleasurable consequences that we have for now.

Happy seller -- happy customers!

We obtained 4 different ones, but I will omit others from this story yet.

...so, we planted it into an old stump, and as soon as I saw the first blossom I understood it might be something special. Isnt it charming?

We didnt know it will have this ethereal 'starry night' outlook -- the instances at the seller's counter were simply blue or violet. Splendid! I simply cant stop shooting this elvish flower.

Very precise shot. Photographing small flowers with a macro lens is a very pleasant thing. My wife is also very busy with planting flowers now. 😁😀

totally agree with you. but sometimes when the flower is not tiny, 50-mm could work better (50mm is an artsy lense). this photos I could take with 50mm, there is no real 'macro' effect and magnification here.

blessings, @rizasukma! I am sure your land will give birth to a LOAD of cool flowers and fruits; I live in the northern land of spruce, pines and aspens, the nature is quite rigid here..

Ohhh where do you live. I live in western Indonesia. The tip of the island of Sumatra. We have a nice climate here. I plant various kinds of flowers here. But we have to take care of him properly.

Oh, yes! That is magnificent! I wonder what caused the mottled color? Although, I say that, but it certainly gives it color and a lot of character!

Denise, its fifty-fifty!
flowers post speak for themselves without much text, agree,
but speaking of markets, goodies, customs and traditions,-- I simply cannot follow your advice :) the bar raised too high and I can not touch it myself.. too often :)))
