Friends Reunion: My IAAC Post #50

It is over two decades now when we left secondary school for the university. Because of our academic inclinations, we attended different universities and read different courses as well. One of us mooted the idea of a reunion and the whole group bought the idea.

Now fixing a date for the said reunion was not all that easy as most of us are not working and living in the same state. So we planned the reunion during this festive period when all must have returned home for the Xmas and the new year celebrations.

Today, that reunion became a reality as we converged at the MOUAU guest house, Umudike, Abis State, Nigeria for it. We chose the open field so that we can have a good view of the environment and also receive fresh air. Artificial air (air condition, fan) is good but natural fresh air and or breeze is the best, !LOL.

To grace the occasion we ate some local foods and then garnished it with some cold drinks.

Thereafter we proceeded to the house of our then Vice Principal and paid him a surprise courtesy call. He and the wife were happy that his former students were able to remember and visit him in his country home this yuletide. He prayed and blessed us to prosper in our endeavours.

Thereafter we all dispersed to our various homes feeling happy that the reunion was a successful one. It was not really the food and drinks we had that made it a great outing. It was rather the joy of seeing one's friends and classmates again after so many years. Indeed it was fun seeing friends and colleagues ones again after over two decades. Thank God that I am still alive to witness a day like this.

We there and then resolved to make it an annual affair with a bigger audience. We all shall be alive to see the next reunion. Thanks for reading my blog and do have a wonderful day ahead.

Organizing class reunion is a very difficult task because many friends working and living so long distance since there. However I appreciate you all once effort, then you could discussed useful memories and things since open environment.

Yes reunion is one of the platform that brings friends of old time together after being away for some reason it may be due to academic pursuit or in search of a greener pasture or or change of environment, it could be anything but when you have a reunion, you will be back together and remember the old times, dear friend @alovely088 I can see the smile and joy 😁 in everyone's face, including having a drink together to mark the occasions, like a saying that say,twenty children can never stay or play together together for twenty years, I hope you had enough time to enjoy your self's, I wish you guys all the best in all your endeavours, do have a wonderful day

Yes natural air is best that´s why we should not pollute our planet and eat healthy or soon there is no more air to breathe. Unfortunately 99% humans are too lazy although it is a much easier life being healthy.

It's great that you were able to make this reunion after so many years, it's always rich in emotions, and I noticed for having also made some that sometimes the memories differ, or at least that we don't all keep the same outstanding memories.

You guys really had fun, I can relate to how you feel during the reunion, as the reunion always bring about old memories, what you did together during those and you ended laughing about it.

And it's very thoughtful of you to visit your then VP, he must have been a good man and treat you guys learn during your days in secondary school.

It is a very nice thing to meet with childhood and study friends, you share and remember many anecdotes, for the photos look very happy, stay !ALIVE and healthy, so you can continue to meet, greetings.
