Friday Cat Drama | IAAC Year 2

It's FriYAY! Time to celebrate the weekend once more. 🤓🤓 tomorrow is Labor Day, a holiday for most folks, and if they work, they get extra pay. Good for them. I wish I could say the same for me. 😒😒

Wow! Entering the fifth month of 2021 and we have not been out of lockdown. Weak shit. Pardon the colorful language. It just felt good to rant. 😂🤣 pathetic -- that's how I would describe our local predicament. For now, I leave it at that, as I do not want to further stress myself. Weekends are for winding down, relaxing, or cleaning up. 😝😝 I'm not a fun person, huh? Well, that's how simple life is. Or so I think...

Lately, it's full of cat dramas. I think it's 'coz I also pay more attention to them than before. Inni's been back three weeks now. Mowe and Bon are back in the flat. Seems all three cats have managed to adjust to one another's presence now. A good sign if you ask me.

Then, Mini had her kittens last Sunday. Earlier today, she hid her kittens in an unknown place. I trusted she knew what she was doing, so I let it be. Then, I discovered late afternoon that the kittens were in a box that almost got thrown away by the janitor. 😮😮 I had to grab them and kept them in the cat haus I had made for them. Mini was uncomfortable at first but felt she had no choice for now. The kitties are too little at this time to be moved anywhere near.

Grumpy's kittens are twelve weeks old now. They seem thinner than before but all are eating well with quite a healthy appetite. The kittens would visit inside the flat once in a while -- to play, eat, or sleep.

A new kitten found its way into our midst. We named it Rio, but we're not sure yet of its gender. Rio seemed tame for an outdoor kitty. We'll know more I hope in the next few days and weeks.

I'm thankful to be alive to experience these cat dramas. After all, they're like family to us.
