Wednesday Walk ~ Autumn On My Mind
π£ #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
For today's Wednesday walk I took a few pictures with Autum on my mind.
The first official day of Fall and a new season begins next week on Tuesday in my region.
The Autumn Chrysanthemums flowers arrived a couple of weeks ago but today the Pumpkins showed up.
π
It may not be "officially" Fall/Autumn just yet but seeing the pumpkins out makes it offical enough for me.
I'm seeing Asters everywhere I go now.
They are a beautiful late season wildflower and beneficial for the pollinators.
Many of the Summertime flowers have go by but mother nature is still providing for the pollinators.
π€π
I saw some berries on a Bittersweet vine today. The berries will become more coulourful as time goes on turning red and yellow.
Every year in the Fall I purchase a Chrysanthemum to put on my porch.
I walked around and around today looking at many different beautiful one's at the farm store. I made a commitment and brought one back home to my cabin.

I am not looking forward to Winter either. Last Winter was too long.
Ohh yes i hope the same, Farmers almanac and some others are predicted a harsh winter but i am hoping they are wrong
π―
I haven't looked at the Farmer Almanac yet.
Oh gosh π I so hope π€π€π€ it's not going to be a harsh one.
I'm dearly hoping their wrong too
@tattoodjay
:-D
Well they have said the same other years and got it wrong so I am hoping they have got it wrong this year
OMG @annephilbrick, just look at the size of those pumpkins! They are huge! And they are the sort of Pumpkins that you guys use to carve out for Halloween aren't they.
Are they tasty Pumpkins? We only really have Butternut- which I love and and then there's the JAP, also known as Kent, which I'm not so fond of...ad a few others, but the JAP by far id the most popular...
Love the Chrysanthemum too, gorgeous little flowers aren't they.
And those little yellow berries almost remind me of what I once knew living in Noosa Heads in South East QLD as wild passionate fruit. Same size, same colour, the leaf look almost identical too, but the fruit looked a little softer than those there and you could pick them off the bush, pop them in your mouth for a zingy, refreshing taste.
Anyway, thanks so much for taking us on a lovely WednesdayWalk with you this week and I look forward to your tour next Wednesday! π

Thank You π€..!
@chocolatescorpi
The pumpkins are for carving and decorating for Autumn . They are edible but not as flavorful as the varieties of pumpkins that are grown for eating.
Chrysanthemums are most beautiful and very traditional to buy in Autumn..ππ.
:-D
I love these super cool orange pumpkins !!!! (well, I love pumpkins anyway). alas, I meet them only at the counter... :)
