Actually, autumn is just starting to show itself here. At least the leaves have turned yellow over the last 10 days and started falling from the trees. So it's not my fault this post is late; I'm not really that late, anyway—who decides that? Anyway, let's get started!

My wife and I went for a walk over the weekend and ended up at a park we love near our house. It's usually super crowded; kids love sliding down the slides and playing tag there.

Right now, the slide looks empty, which you don't always see, so taking a picture of it is a great idea. I'm not sure if it would have been right to take the picture while the kids were there. People are sensitive about such things these days.

It's the harshest part of the seasonal change. When the sun is out, it feels warm, but when the sun disappears, you freeze. Dressing warmly and eating right are very important. Pay attention to this, or a week-long or longer illness will keep you bedridden. My wife and I sat in the park and ate an orange each. The reason I took the photo here is to show you where the orange leaves are most concentrated.

Then we continued walking. For those who may not remember, this area is very close to where the major earthquake in Turkey occurred and was badly affected. Construction is still ongoing; I don't know if this will be an apartment building or a shopping center. Maybe it will be both. In Turkey, it's common to see buildings where the ground floor is used as a market and people live on the upper floors. I wonder if it's the same in other countries, or if markets are in small, multi-story buildings and houses are densely packed.

After spending some time watching the construction, we continued walking. Watching construction is an interesting tradition in Turkey. I guess people enjoy seeing how those huge construction machines work. This park was bigger and less crowded than the other one. We sat in a sunny spot here.

Then we kept walking to do a supermarket tour. Believe it or not, I caught this leaf in midair. It felt good to see my reflexes are still sharp.

Don't be surprised that I'm posting this late. Look, some of the trees still have green leaves, and I don't think they have any intention of dropping them. Even though it's cold here, it's a region that doesn't get snow and has little rain. Maybe that's why autumn comes late.

This photo was taken just two days after the previous ones, on Monday. How different, right? The others were taken only when the sun was out, and the last photo was taken on a cloudy day. The temperature was also very different, so be careful. Don't get sick. Being fooled by the winter sun can cause serious problems in your life.

Aslında sonbahar burada yeni yeni kendini gösteriyor. En azından yapraklar son 10 gündür sarardı ve ağaçlardan düşmeye başladı. Yani bu gönderinin geç gelmesi benim suçum değil, aslında geç de kalmış sayılmam, buna kim karar veriyor ki? Her neyse hadi başlayalım!

Eşimle hafta sonu bir yürüyüşe çıktık ve evimize yakın olan sevdiğimiz bir parka geldik. Burası genelde aşırı kalabalık oluyor, çocuklar parkta kaydırakta kaymaya ve kovalamaca oynamaya bayılıyorlar.

Şu anda kaydırak boş gibi görünüyor, bunu her zaman böyle göremezsiniz, o yüzden bir fotoğrafını çekmek harika bir fikir. Çocuklar oradayken fotoğrafı çekmek çok doğru olur muydu emin değilim. İnsanlar bugünlerde böyle konularda hassas.

Mevsim değişiminin en sert dönemi. Havalar güneşliyken sıcak gibi hissettiriyor ama güneş kaybolduğunda donuyorsunuz. Sıkı giyinmek ve doğru beslenmek çok önemli. Buna dikkat edin yoksa 1 haftalık ya da daha uzun süreli bir hastalık sizi yatağa hapseder. Eşimle parkta oturup birer mandalina yedik. Fotoğrafı burada çekmemin sebebi size turuncu yaprakların en yoğun olduğu yeri göstermek.

Daha sonra yürümeye devam ettik, belki hatırlamayanlar için burası Türkiye'deki büyük depremin olduğu bölgeye çok yakın ve kötü etkilendi. İnşatlar hala devam ediyor, burası bir apartman mı yoksa bir alışveriş merkezi mi olacak bilmiyorum. Belki ikisi birden olacaktır. Türkiye'de en alt katın market olarak kullanıldığı üst katında insanların oturduğu binalar yaygın. Başka ülkelerde de böyle mi yoksa marketler küçük birkaç katlı binalar ve evler de müstakil yoğunluklu mu merak ediyorum.

İnşaatı izleyerek biraz zaman geçirdikten sonra yürümeye devam ettik. Türkiye'de inşaatı izlemek enteresan bir gelenek. Sanırım o devasa iş makinelerinin nasıl çalıştığını görmek insanların hoşuna gidiyor. Bu park diğerinden daha büyük ve daha az yoğundu. Burada güneş gören bir yere oturduk.

Sonra market turu yapmak için yürümeye devam ettik. İster inanın ister inanmayın bu yaprağı havada yakaladım. Reflekslerimin hala iyi olduğunu görmek iyi hissettirdi.

Bu gönderiyi geç yayınlamama şaşırmayın. Şuna bakın, bazı ağaçların yaprakları hala yeşil ve sanırım onlar yapraklarını bırakmaya hiç niyetli değiller. Burası soğuk olsa da kar yağışı almayan ve az yağmur alan bir bölge. Belki de bu yüzden sonbahar geç geliyor.

Bu fotoğraf da öncekilerden sadece iki gün sonra çekildi yani pazartesi günü. Ne kadar farklı değil mi? Diğerleri sadece güneş varken çekildi ve son fotoğraf bulutlu havalarda. Sıcaklık da çok farklıydı bu yüzden dikkatli olun. Hastalanmayın. Kış güneşine aldanmak hayatınızda ciddi sorunlara yol açabilir.
