Wednesday Walk | Searching for Roast Duck in Saigon

Roast duck is a favourite amongst the locals - to be precise, this is the only style of cooking that is preferred; although duck can be cooked either by braising, stewed or soup. But, the locals like it roasted. Coincidently, I found these roast duck stalls one of my outdoor excursions in District Five which is also commonly known as China Town. Of course, the Chinese love roast duck as such, it only seem wise to find so many stalls selling duck here.

This stall is located at 122, Huynh Man Dat; just twenty minutes walk away from my apartment. I can't tell if it's the best roast duck in the city then again, it's not as if I was a roast duck expert. From what I can observe fro this stall, there seemed to be a que of people on motorbikes ordering their roast duck from this stall.

I had to take photo of this stall from different angles so that I could remember where it was located. It ain't easy to find these stalls unless you have a fix location or address to pin point it. Thankfully, I found a nearby shop with a proper signboard 😆

I should try to order quarter of a roast duck and enjoy it at home. Perhaps, this weekend would be a good time since salary is out and it's time to indulge in some Cheat Food Day !
