I came across a film about the drug dealer George Jung, played by Johnny Depp, based on real events. I do not take drugs and other black business, but this film has become interesting to me in terms of business and relationships with people. It was just interesting to look at the business model of this character and how he lifted everything from the very beginning. I learned a few useful things for myself:

  1. Our contacts are everything. It is important to make as many useful contacts as possible and not be afraid to approach serious people and talk with them. The more contacts, the more chances to become successful.
  2. Serious people do not like chatter. It is necessary to speak with restraint and substance.
  3. Pay special attention not only to those with whom you are building a business, but also to those with whom you are building your life.
  4. If friendships in business are bursting at the seams and your partner is dishonest - wish him all the best, leave and start your own separate business.
  5. Never keep money in one place.
  6. Have a stash of cash somewhere in a cellar that no one knows about. Perhaps this will one day become your lifeline.
  7. And lastly, do not do "black things", nothing good will come of it!

I liked the movie. Interesting story. Not at all boring. 2 hours sat chained to the screen.

I will give a synopsis from IMDb:

The story of how George Jung, along with the Medellín Cartel headed by Pablo Escobar, established the American cocaine market in the 1970s in the United States.
