May 20th oil pastel painting.

Hello friends,

Today I’m going to share with you oil pastel painting of a cat.

Materials I used

Red craft paper

Coloring pencils

Oil pastel

Colors I used

White

Turquoise

Blue

Light blue

Green

Black

Painting process

First I did a light sketch with a white pencil.

Then I was working on fur details using light blue and turquoise pencils.

This painting has a lot of white, so in this step, I’m adding white fur details.

Now, to add life to the painting I’m working on the eye. I also added a tiny bit of black to the darkest lines.

Again I wasn’t satisfied with my pencils’ brightness and I went over the drawing with my oil pastel, and the drawing turned into painting:-)
