May 6th watercolor painting.

Hello friends,

I want to share with you my today’s painting. I didn’t do any yesterday because had some unexpected things happen. Everything went wrong yesterday, but not today:-)

Here are materials I used

*Watercolor paper
watercolors (I used Windsor & Newton and White Nights sets)
pencil
paper towel
kneaded eraser

Colors I used

cadmium red
english red
lemon
cadmium yellow medium
carmin
ultramarine
green
turquoise blue
emerald green
yellow ochre
lamp black

Step 1. I made pencil sketch of the house and the yard.

Step 2. I wet the sky area and added ultramarine paint in several spots to let it form the clouds.

Step 3. I painted the roof and the grass.

Step 4. Next I painted the trees.

Step 5. Then, I painted the walls and the ground.

Step 6. After that, I worked on the bushes and the grass details.

Step 7. Now it’s time for the windows and the frames.

Step 8. I started adding some casting shades, also I painted the fence and the door.

Step 9. Now, I’m pretty much done, just adding little details here and there, casting shadow for the fence and the rocks.
