I watched pouring for some time now and found the method interesting. For my own purposes not as much, but noticing that acrylics stay open much longer I got some pouring medium and used it with my decalcomania method. It works great. I use decalcomania in parts of my paintings and/or as a starting point.

I have used decalomania techniques with pouring; it's great fun, but I prefer pouring straight on my canvasses. The added random element of decalomania becomes a bit much for me :-) BTW, if you use PVA glue (Elmers) as a pouring medium you get even more open time, as in HOURS of time.
