Sharing my Drawing and Story I shared in another community, still not sure I'm meant to post to multiple communities?

Another drawing to share for storytime

following @katharsisdrill example.

mermaidreading.jpg

Considering @katharsisdrill own wonderful series

Here "Torundal the Shit Poster" I've decided to share another of my black and white drawings and to attach a story with it.

In the same guidelines and rules as He has imposed, I have followed suit. Thus: the story consists of 211 words and begins and ends with the same sentence.

I hope you enjoy and thanks again @katharsisdrill and #hive for inspiring all of us 'lock down' artists in the New Normal.

.

The contemplation of the idle was the idee' fixe of Clementine.

She found herself, oft on days such as this, to let her thoughts wander. In so doing she'd pity those pitiless creatures who hadn't a care in the world nor any work to be about.

"What idleness the seal", she'd scold, "What laziness bred into the lay-about owl, imagine, nothing to do all day save eat and fly"

The owl hunted hungrily.

Clementine rolled onto her back, feeling the soft moss and warm sea. She'd contemplated swimming to her Father's palace to retrieve her latest novel, but the sun was so warm; The sky so blue.

"Silly gulls" she poo pooed the birds, busily circling in their daily attempt to find food. "Haven't you any chores to be about?"

Clementine felt her back a bit sore from this pose so returned to her stomach, letting her tail wag lazily in the cool sea waters. She'd found a bit of kelp on the rock that was rather interesting.

See there: how it furls in and out as the tide played with it like so much flotsam and jetsam? A tiny little crab scuttled by, rushing from the prodding fingers of Clementine.

The contemplation of the idle was the idee' fixe of Clementine.

I would beg apologies for my poor grammar and punctuation saying English is not my first language, but alas, it is, so do be kind.

As always, like share subscribe and all those good things.

Arg, this is great and things are going so fast here on Hive I hardly can follow it! It is like some of the days on Steem where it was really funny to be there (now it is a bit desolate).

Love the text. You were right. The Torundel became a challenge/concept anyway. I just didn't realise, probably because i have my head up somewhere lofty.

I will look at these rules for our project soon!

Torundel inspired me too. Anything to get the creative juices going is welcome. As always I love your drawing.

I find it amusing that she's chiding all these things for being idle when she seems pretty idle herself XD

Is that a skirt or fins?
