It was part of a contest but I fell so much in love with the background that I think I preferred to leave it like that, hehe, still I entered the contest with its changes and the characters inside. But for this occasion I want to show the background alone.

Era parte de un concurso pero me enamore tanto del fondo que creo que le preferí dejar así, hehe, igual entre con sus cambio hechos y los personajes que debían estar dentro. Pero por esta ocasión quiero mostrar el fondo únicamente.

Those who know about my works would have noticed that I don't work much on this kind of painting, I like to focus more on the character or a central point of the image. Here it was very different, a pumpkin field in the middle of a sunset, how relaxing it could be to camp in a place like this.

Quienes sepan de mis trabajos habrían notado que no soy de trabajar mucho estos tipos de pintura, me gusta centrarme mas que todo en el personaje o un punto central de la imagen. Aquí si fue muy diferente, un campo de calabazas en medio de un atardecer, que relajante podría ser acampar en un lugar así.

To start I wanted to do it with a gray composition, I wasn't going to make the technique in grisaille because in this part it was just a thumbnail as a base. A very fast and personally with a very scary look.

Para comenzar quería hacerlo con una composición en grises, no iba a hacer la técnica en grisalla perse debido a que en esta parte fue solo un thumbnail a modo de base. Una guía muy rápida y personalmente muy tétrica.

The color was very helpful, here you see more life and less "horror story/ don't go in there they will kill you" kind of paint. Strong brushes always help here.

El color si le fue mucho de ayuda, aquí se ve con mas vida y menos "historia de terror/ que no entres que te van a matar". Con pinceles fuertes y a poner bloques.

I flattened the field a little more, it looked very strange from one area to another, with a soft and textured brush can be achieved a lot.

Aplané un poco más el escampado, se veía muy recortado una zona de otra, con pincel suave y de textura se logra mucho.

I have always recommended and used "overlay" filters in my paintings; the reason is to vary the colors.

Siempre he recomendado y he usado filtros como las de "sobreponer" en mis pinturas; la razón es variar lo colores.

For the leaves I didn't want to use too much time, this area with dynamic strokes and accurate tones can give a correct essence.

Para las hojas no quise usar mucho tiempo, esta area con trazos dinámicos y tonos acordes puede dar una correcta esencia.

I tend to leave the details and their fixes at the end, once I have at hand the tones that I will use in the same painting; using normal layers is more than enough, after this I can use layers with filters to strengthen some light or tone.

Tiendo a dejar los detalles y sus arreglo al final, una vez tenga a la mano los tonos que usare en la misma pintura; con usar capaz normales es más que suficiente, después de esta puedo usar capaz con filtros para afianzar mas alguna luz o tono.

No natural object is an entire and specific color alone, almost always there will be found some type of gradients, the "overlay" allows to vary the tones of a painting without compromising the values within it.

Ningún área natural es de un color especifico, casi siempre este se encontrara en algún tipo de degrades, el "sobreponer" permite variar los tonos de una pintura sin comprometer mucho los valores dentro de esta.
