Good morning everyone,

Happy Sunday to you all. I bring to you my recent sketch. Its a drawing of a native fulani girl. They come from the northern part of Nigeria. One thing I love about them is their long hair which comes naturally to them compared to us from other part of the country. They also love to put it in two long braids as seen above in the drawing. Another notable thing about them is two traditional marks each beside their mouth. Finally they love to paint their lips black. Some usually have additional traditional mark on their cheeks as seen also in the drawing.

For the drawing I used black charcoal pencil on canvas sketchbook.

Good job!

Pencil is sometimes hard on canvas but it works too... a little trick what works good is to prepair it with sandpaper first ;)
