Watercolor Fish- Peppermint Basslet

A little over a year ago I painted some watercolor fish, using a mermay prompt list for reference. I've decided to continue the list, I stopped on the 6th one.

The paper is a bit cheap quality so I have to be careful not to melt it, I will try getting some better quality ones in the near future.

I work on several watercolors at the same time so they have time to dry.

About the Peppermint Basslet
● An uncommon species collected from deeper Atlantic reef areas.
● They prefer rocky environments like the rubble piles at the base of the reef.

It took me a ridiculous amount of time to realise analogue painters have several paintings on the go because of drying times XD

I remember the fishies! Needing some inspiration or finding sets to finish? :)

Ahh I mainly do that for watercolors xD I'd go nuts waiting for paint dry. I used to do it for oil paintings too, I realized they turned out much better if I let some stuff dry.
