Drawing Moly in my style - contest by @grisvisa / Dibujando a Moly a mi estilo - concurso de @grisvisa

Good morning everyone, dear community, today I bring you my small participation for the contest Source of my friend @grisvisa, in which we must draw the character Moly in our own style, invites us to use our imagination and creativity to design the character in a somewhat different way but being faithful to the original idea of @grisvisa, I like this kind of drawing contests very much and I love to participate in them because it's a way to keep improving and perfecting my drawing technique, besides I like to see the other works of the other cartoonists because they are always very interesting, and well without more to add here I leave you my drawing and I hope you like it very much:

Muy buenos días tengan todos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les traigo mi pequeña participación para el concurso Fuente de la amiga @grisvisa , en el cual debemos Dibujar al personaje Moly a nuestro propio estilo, nos invita a utilizar nuestra imaginación y creatividad para diseñar el personaje de una manera algo diferente pero siendo fiel a la idea original de @grisvisa, este tipo de concursos de dibujo me gustan mucho y me encanta participar en ellos pues es una manera de seguir mejorando y perfeccionando mi técnica de dibujo, además de que gusta ver los otros trabajos de los demás dibujantes pues siempre son muy interesantes, y bueno sin más que agregar aquí les dejo mi dibujo y espero les guste mucho:

BOCETO /SKETCH

The first thing I did for this drawing was to make a skeleton or sketch, this to have a clear idea of what I wanted to do with this drawing, then I proceeded to mark the outline, with the outline the drawing was already much more defined and with a clear structure to proceed to paint it.

Lo primero que hice para este dibujo fue realizar un esqueleto o boceto, esto para tener una idea clara de que era lo que quería realizar con este dibujo, luego allí si procedí a marcar el delineado, con el delineado el dibujo ya estaba mucho más definido y con una estructura clara para proceder a pintarlo.

I started the painting process giving color to Moly's skin, I also gave certain details to the face as for example in the nose and mouth with a little stronger tone to give more volume, then paint the eyes and hair of the character and for this I used a bright purple color very similar to the original color of Moly's eyes, for the hair I also used a little more opaque purple with certain thick locks.

Inicie el proceso de pintado dándole color a la piel de Moly, también le di ciertos detalles al rostro como por ejemplo en la nariz y boca con una tonalidad un poco más fuerte para darle mas volumen, luego pinte los ojos y el cabello del personaje y para esto utilice un color purpura brillante muy parecido al color original de los ojos de Moly, para el cabello también use un purpura un poco más opaco con ciertos mechones gruesos.

Then I proceeded to paint Moly's dress, for this I respected the original colors of the character of @grisvisa but used a little lighter tones to give it its own style, after painting his dress I added a Japanese style umbrella because I thought it would look good with it from the beginning, I also added some small balloons floating behind Moly.

Luego procedí a pintar la vestimenta de Moly, para esto respete los colores originales del personaje de @grisvisa pero utilice tonos un poco más claros para darle estilo propio, luego de pintar su vestimenta agregue una sombrilla al estilo japonés pues me desde un principio me parecía que se vería bien con ella, también agregue algunos globos pequeños flotando atrás de Moly.

The next thing I did was to create a good background for Moly, for this paint a whole layer with navy blue, then add some stars scattered throughout the background with the bright brush, besides that also some clouds, this to make it as similar as possible to a starry night.

Lo siguiente que hice fue crear un buen fondo para Moly, para esto pinte toda una capa con color azul marino, luego agregue algunas estrellas muy esparcidas por todo el fondo con el pincel brillante, además de eso también de algunas nubes , esto para que se asemejara los más posible a una noche estrellada.

After having everything well painted I proceeded to remove the line that I had previously done 'cause it seemed to me that without it my drawing would look better, then I added the eyelashes to Moly and a little bit of pink on her cheeks so she would look a little blushed.

Luego de tener todo bien pintado procedí a quitar el lineado que había hecho previamente `pues me parecía que sin el quedaría mejor mi dibujo, luego añadí las pestañas a Moly y un poco de rosa en sus mejillas para que se viera un poco ruborizada.

Finally I added shadows and lights to this character, for the shadows I created a multiplication layer at low opacity and with the black color I made those shadows, for example under the umbrella, hair and so on, then I added the lights or highlights, for this I created an addition layer and with the white color I placed them in the hair and some areas of Moly's clothes.

Por último agregue sombras y luces a este personaje, para las sombras cree una capa de multiplicación a baja opacidad y con el color negro hice dichas sombra, como por ejemplo debajo de la sombrilla, cabello y demás, luego agregue las luces o brillos, para esto cree una capa de suma y con el color blanco las fui colocando en el cabello y algunas zonas de la vestimenta de Moly.

Esto fue todo el proceso, quisiera agradecer a @grisvisa por traernos esta gran iniciativa, la verdad me gusto mucho participar en ella y darle mi estilo a este personaje, fue muy interesante jugar un poco con la forma y los colores originales y darles mi toque propio, invito a todos los que me lean y que quieran participar en este concurso que lo hagan, pues la verdad les gustara mucho, sin más que añadir les mando un gran saludo y espero vemos muy pronto.
