Digital Painting || Elf Girl || Making Magic

Hello everyone, i am here to share my new digital artwork. I haven't posted anything in three days because i have been busy doing other things so i have been spending little time everyday and finally i finished it. The concept isn't that new, there's always blowing a butterfly, touching a butterfly, holding a butterfly,,,,, i added a bit of magic to it...

I do not know what i was doing with the head. I probably should have just gone with regular hair but i wanted to make it look more elsewordly... If there is even a word...

Here are some process shots and description:

I started with the very basic almost half view of head but instead of drawing hair i made a weird shape.

I filled in color in a layer for base layer and took different layers for each different shadings such as skin, cloth, hair(!), lips and eyebrows....

I started shading and since i was using clip studio paint, i could use the watercolor brush or the blending tool to blend colors.... These tools are really amazing for blending....

At this point i felt like something is missing, so this is where i decided to draw hand.... First i tried to draw from my mind but then that got shitty so i took a picture of my own hand and tried to draw from that, but i think the proportions got a bit weird....

I struggled a bit with the magic lines, because i tried stars, spell drawings and then simple smokes, then smaller butterflies and then weird opacity color but they didn't look good. So i did this simple lines with some blending modes and got a good feeling about this....

And thats it.

I am open to ideas about drawings since i am running out of them.... Suggest me some characters or something to draw, online artprompts are too complicated....
