Making a drawing with real flowers and leaves | Animal Queen [ENG-ESP]

I had this drawing done a few days ago, but I hadn't finished it yet. I was looking at it and I didn't feel a connection with it. I even thought about throwing it away and throwing it in the trash can. I hate to waste art material, so I decided to "rescue" this work, decorating it with real leaves and dried flowers, to give it a little more life.

Tenia hecho este dibujo ya hace unos días, pero aun no lo había terminado. Lo veía y no sienta una conexión con el. Llegue a pensar en desecharlo y tirarlo al bote de basura. Odio desperdiciar material de arte, así que decidí "rescatar" este trabajo, adornándolo con hojas y flores secas reales, para así darle un poco mas de vida al mismo.

At the beginning everything was going great, the drawing was taking a good direction, so everything was going well. Until it was time to paint, where the drawing was losing that direction. Each time I advanced more and more in the painting and I was realizing that it was not what I had had in mind from the beginning.

Al principio todo iba de maravilla, el dibujo estaba tomando buena dirección, así que todo iba bien. Hasta que llego el momento de pintar, fue donde el dibujo fue perdiendo esa dirección. Cada vez avanza mas y mas en la pintura y me iba dando cuenta que no era lo que había tenido en mente desde el principio.

In the end, after having advanced the drawing, in terms of painting, I made the decision to abandon it completely and not continue with this work. A few days passed and I only saw it there, waiting for a ray of light to be finished. Until one morning I took it and decided to rescue it and give it a little life, to finish it.

Al final, luego de tener avanzado el dibujo, en cuanto a la pintura, tome la decisión de abandonarlo por completo y no seguir con este trabajo. Pasaron unos días y solo lo veía ahí, esperando un rayo de luz para ser terminado. Hasta que en una mañana lo tome y decidí rescatar y darle un poco de vida al mismo, para así terminarlo.

That's when I came up with the idea of integrating flowers and dried leaves into the drawing, as I do in my art journal. As I was gluing leaves and flowers, I realized that it wasn't looking too bad and by the time I finished gluing everything that I felt was necessary, I just looked at it and said to myself: "how beautiful it is".

Fue entonces cuando se me ocurrió la idea de integrar flores y hojas secas en el dibujo, como hago en mis art journal. Mientras iba pegando hojas y flores, me iba dando cuanto que no estaba quedando tan mal y para cuando termine de pegarle todo lo que yo sentí que era lo necesario, solo lo mire y me dije: "que hermoso quedo".
