Welcome to a new post in which I will be presenting a new digital painting which I enjoyed doing because while doing it I imagined the whole context and background story of each character within this combat scene where surely one of us will fall. I will also leave you a Gif that I loved because it gives the sensation of tension that you surely breathe at that moment.

Bienvenidos a un Nuevo post en el cual les estaré presentando una nueva pintura digital la cual disfrute mucho realizando ya que mientras la hacía imaginaba todo el contexto y la historia de fondo de cada personaje dentro de esta escena de combate donde seguro alguno de los dos caerá. Además les dejare un Gif que me encanto ya que da la sensación de tención que seguramente se respira en ese momento.

Our minotaur, almost without energy and only moved by instinct, had managed some moments ago to break the chains that had held him prisoner to an unjust sentence of struggle and hardship which was dictated by some sovereign who hated to see this deformed creature free. Unfortunately, while he tried to escape from this cold cave that dyed its sands and walls of blood, he found who was destined to give the coup de grâce that would take the life of this beast while he was chained. Our hero, unaware of the reality lived by the Minotaur and only guided by the order "Kill the evil beast", prepares his heroic sword to initiate what will end in the misfortune of one of our innocent pawns.

Nuestro minotauro, casi sin energía y solo movido por instinto, había logrado hace algún momento romper las cadenas que lo tenían prisionero a una injusta condena de lucha y penurias la cual fue dictada por algún soberano que odiaba ver libre a esta deforme criatura. Por desgracia, mientras intentaba huir de esta helada cueva que tiño sus arenas y sus paredes de sangre, encontró a quien fue destinado para dar el golpe de gracia que quitaría la vida de esta bestia mientras estaba encadenada. Nuestro héroe inconsciente de la realidad que vive el minotauro y solo guiado por la orden “Mata a la malvada bestia” prepara su heroica espada para iniciar lo que terminara en la desgracia de alguno de nuestros inocentes peones.

The battle is about to begin and the minotaur only breathes, recovering the breath that has taken away the wounds caused during his sentence, but our hero only sees the bloody, ferocious and evil beast that was told to him, destroying and killing entire villages. Soon the destiny will be decided and death will claim the soul of someone.

La batalla está por iniciar y el minotauro solo respira recuperando el aliento que le ha quitado las heridas causadas durante su condena, pero nuestro héroe solo ve la ensangrentada, feroz y malvada bestia que le contaron destrozo y mato a aldeas enteras. Pronto el destino se decidirá y la muerte reclamara el alma de alguno.

Who would you like to win? Or perhaps we can hope that providence will give them a less violent way out? I doubt it...

¿Quién desearías que ganara? O ¿tal vez podremos esperar que la providencia les dé una salida menos violenta? Lo dudo…

Now knowing the story (which I hope you will like) I leave you with the evolution of this painting made in Photoshop with a Huion tablet, using two GIFs, one that shows the development of the pencil sketch and the other where I go digital and finish the idea that fluttered in my mind. I will also leave the images separated from the evolution so that you can appreciate each step in detail.

Ahora sabiendo la historia (que espero les gustara) Les dejo la evolución de esta pintura realizada en Photoshop con una tableta Huion, mediante dos GIF, uno que muestra el desarrollo del boceto en lápiz y el otro donde paso a digital y culmino la idea que revoloteo en mi mente. Además dejare las imágenes separadas de la evolución para que puedan apreciar con detenimiento cada paso.
