My First Post on Hive.Blog

Hi!!!
I go by the name @Simbistuff on both Hive and Instagram.

I have always loved art and drawing but never got a chance to learn it through classes or through school. Hence it has always been my deepest hidden fantasy to learn how to art and be artistic.

Very recently I was made available to a tablet and a stylus and hence I started to try and pursue this hidden fantasy of mine.

Again I don’t have any formal coaching so most of my pieces are experimental and childish. I am currently using the free app “Autodesk Sketchbook” for all my work. If I actually manage to do well here I might try and buy a paid app going further. Not exactly sure which app, but will figure that out in the future.

I started out by posting my pieces on my Instagram page but I see very very few people interacting on the same. Then I came by the @NFTShowroom and then Hive.
So I have applied for the artist whitelist on NFT Showroom.

I took some time to read all the articles about posting on Hive Blog and use of markup language.

So this was one of the first piece I posted on Instagram. I spent all my time trying out the different brushes and understanding how layers worked.

It’s is titled :

Balloon Away!!! 🎈

Just a Red Balloon being “blown away”.

My inspiration to this was a sight of a stray balloon not knowing its destination or route, yet following the random wind into its unknown future. It’s almost like many of the human lives, where we are not sure where we would end up yet we keep moving.
