CHEESE PIZZA DAY with BABYMETAL!!! (Comic Art)
Good morning! It's been four days since I last drew comics and it made me feel like doing today's comic post very tedious. Lol! I don't know why it took me 2 days to finish this, but nevermind, I'm happy how it turned out.
Today's comics was supposed to be for the celebration of the CHEESE PIZZA DAY last September 5. I know it's 4 days late but I have to do it because I have an idea that I really wanted to create.
This main characters for this comics is the members of the Japanese kawaii(cute), metal, idol group called BABYMETAL namely Yui-metal, Su-metal, and Moa-metal. BABYMETAL currently has 3 studio albums BABYMETAL, METAL RESISTANCE, and METAL GALAXY. The group was formed in 2010 and they have performed solo shows at the biggest arenas and domes in Japan, even having solo shows at the Wembley Arena and The Forum. BABYMETAL is also often invited to perform on music festivals overseas.
Okay, enough with the intro. The first page of the comics is inspired by the girls' interview on Skuzz TV. (See the video at the end of the comics.)

- While the host was talking, here's how I think the girls are thinking. The girls can understand some English but they needed the help of a translator most of the time during interviews.
- The word pizza starts flying.
- ...and traversing to a certain person. Who could it be?
- For this certain person, the word is like a spell..
- ...that awakens the soul!
- Oh, it's Moa-metal! The word is like a key that opened the door to her memories!
- Back in time where she was happily fed with pizza like those photos in ancient rome eating grapes.
- But Su-metal quickly shattered Moa-metal daydream. Looks like that's going to be Moa-metal's last time being fed by the two girls.

Before I end this post, I just want to let you know that I am a fan of cheese and it also not unknown to BABYMETAL fans how much of a foodie is Moa-metal. That's why I really enjoyed doing this comic. The part of the interview where Moa-metal perked up when she heard pizza always brings fun to the fan discussions. It only shows how much she loves food, particularly burger, pizza, and even German foods.
Here's a video of the girls performing at the main stage of Sonisphere 2014. There were supposed to be performing on a different stage but there were last minute changes and the group was transferred at the main stage. Imagine performing to all those metalheads with those lines, "Dame! Dame! Dame!" 😂, and getting their approval at the end. So proud of these girls! :D

Grabe, sa facebook ba mahirap e share mga drawings mo? hindi ako masyado nag popost sa facebook ng drawings ko. I don't want people in my immediate social circle to know I got a blog or do art.
pwede naman kaso hindi ako active doon. just like you I don't want people who knows me know about my blog and art..minsan kasi nagpapadrawing sila for free, hindi lang isa. And then iccrop pa watermark. hahaha -_- so dito and sa art account ko sa ig ako naguupload. minsan sa twitter din.
