Good morning! I'm back with another comic drawing featuring Toru and the rest of the members of the Japanese band, ONE OK ROCK. Toru Yamashita, the band's leader and guitarist, caught Covid-19 last July 27 and was discharged from the hospital last August 6. He still haven't completely recovered from the virus but he's been feeling better.

He thanked the medical workers who took care of him and the fans for wishing him well. Those 10 days in the hospital must've been the toughest 10 days in his entire life. Thank you Lord for giving him a second life. I am actually amazed how fast he recovered considering that he is a smoker since Covid-19 hits different on smokers. He probably only got a mild infection or maybe he has a strong immune system or maybe the medical workers and Japanese healthcare system are great.

(ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese rock band composed of Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Ryota (bass), and Tomoya (drums). The band is among the most popular Japanese bands today. They've been touring the world non-stop before the pandemic began. They were supposed to begin their Eye of The Storm Asia Tour last April with their Philippine show on May 2.)

Now let's talk about the comic I made.

"VIDEO CHAT: RECOVERING FROM COVID-19"

Since the only update we had on Toru's recovery was his Instagram post, my mind have run wild once again and imagined a scenario of what could've happened after the three members knew that Toru has been discharged from the hospital and have been winning over the virus. I really imagine the three crying or at least teary from the good news!

As a precaution, I just drew them having a video chat. This was inspired from the group video chat they did months ago during Taka's birthday. (It was funny, by the way. You may want to check it if you're interested. It has subtitles. LINK)
