El primer paso para la realización de este dibujo fue hacer un encaje del rostro lo más centrado en el papel como fuera posible, luego con la ayuda de un lápiz fui haciendo mediciones en el rostro del pequeño Cumberbatch, que luego utilice para dibujarlo en el papel
Para medir y proporcionar el rostro usualmente lo hago tomando como medida de referencia el largo de los ojos.

The first step to make this drawing was to make a lace of the face as centered on the paper as possible, then with the help of a pencil I made measurements on the face of the little Cumberbatch that I then use to draw it on the paper
To measure and provide the face, I usually do it taking the length of the eyes as a reference measure.

Lo siguiente fue generar tramas con el lápiz en el rostro para ir añadiendo valor al rostro, controlando la presión del lápiz para conseguir los diferentes tonos, generalmente comienzo desde los ojos añadiendo la mayor cantidad de detalles posible.

The next thing was to generate strokes with the pencil on the face to add value to the face, controlling the pressure of the pencil to achieve the different tones, generally starting from the eyes adding as much detail as possible.

Para definir el pelo realizo trazos en dirección de los cabello dibujando por separado cada mechón hasta y dejando en blanco las áreas iluminada, es necesario revisar constantemente la imagen de referencia para no pasar por alto algún detalle importante.

Para dibujar las ropas es muy importante tomar en cuenta la caída y pliegues que se crean en la tela, en este caso el cuello de su camisa caía de un lado y se aprecian muchos pliegues, al ser una camisa de franjas me ayudo a generar las ondas necesarias para lograr mejor la textura de la tela.

To draw the clothes it is very important to take into account the fall and folds that are created in the fabric, in this case the collar of his shirt fell from one side and many folds are appreciated, being a striped shirt it helped me to generate the waves needed to better achieve the texture of the fabric

Para el fondo genere una serie de trazo yuxtapuestos con un ligero degradado desde la parte superior y al finalizar el retrato coloque un poco de barniz protector en spray para protegerlo
