Mairimashita Iruma-kun Season 2 Started, So Here's An Iruma-kun Fanart From Me To You <3 <3 <3

Shei here and let me show you a fanart I made today. <3

One of the anime(s) I'm anticipating to watch this season is the second season of Mairimashita Iruma-kun or also known as Welcome to the Demon School, Iruma-kun! I have made a review on the first season a couple weeks back and just this week, the first episode of season two was released.

I watched the first season on Netflix, but since Netflix doesn't release season two weekly per episode, I decided to watch the first episode in Muse Asia's Official YouTube channel. It's just nice to see anime being uploaded legally by licensing companies on their YouTube channels, especially now that the Japanese government has been very strict with pirating animated films and series.

It's especially difficult in some countries like mine, but I can now watch a lot of them on YouTube, Netflix and also on Crunchyroll and Funimation, given that I use VPN.

Anyway, let me show you my artwork for today~!!!

I worked on it in the kitchen table... lol~ But it's more spacious than the desk in my room, so it was comfortable. <3


Of course, I'll be showing you the process of this fanart. As for the materials, I used my sketchpad, markers, colored pencils, pencil and eraser. No watercolor this time since I used the sketchpad. Let's start!

Here's the pencil sketch. I recently found my long lost mechanical pencil, so I'm so glad to be able to use it again. It's much easier to use in drawing because I need not sharpen it unlike the graphite one. It's just for outline anyways.. unless I just want to sketch, then graphite ones would be more ideal.

Then, using a marker and some calligraphy pens, I outlined or inked the drawing. I still haven't bought a black colored pencil, so I'll make use of these first. Also, I do have some pens intended for drawing, but I'm too lazy to use them. What is wrong with me? haha

It's coloring time! I used three shades of blue for his hair. I really like Iruma-kun's hairstyle. It's so cute, especially the antenna on top of his head. I wonder if it's a radar of some sort... who knows? lol

Next up is the skin. I like to put some blush effect on his cheeks because he's just so cute. He's a ball of sunshine! <3 It also add ups to his happy personality despite the fact that he hates standing out... he always fails at it, though. xD

Placed some shadowy effect and highlights on the eyes, teeth and his uniform. I should buy a white ink or pen for highlighting next time. My previous one is out of ink. T_T

After coloring his accessories, I colored the rest of his uniform. Well, in their school, they wear different clothes, but I suppose the one Iruma-kun is wearing is their actual uniform. Other demon students are just so fashionable. haha

I wanted it to have a shadow effect, thus the pencil layout at the side. I'll be inking that using the marker. Check out the next picture!

Tada!!!! Now he's got the shadow effect. Also, I placed my username, date and signature on the artwork. It's a little bare on the other side, so let me write his name on it.

Meet 入間くん～！(Iruma-kun) The kanji 入 means to enter and this one 間 means space, but it's also used in the word 人間 (ningen) which also means human... and the first kanji 入 (enter) is similar to 人 (man)... I think they're playing with his name since he's the only human who entered the demon world or school. haha
