HUMAN VARIATIONS

avatar

After some hours spent on sorting and preparing photographs for future posts, I got fed up with this digital maneuvers in front of the PC screen, so I took my blue pen and started to practice some kind of manual doodling therapy on the relatively fresh air, in front of my house.

After the first raw sketches, I will eventually return to digital editing, and this is how this opening picture ended up looking the way it looks ... but it all started as a short rebellion against the usual digital work :D.

The first drawing looked like this. Just some blue lines on white paper.

After the manual doodling interlude, the digital part of the work was interesting again. I felt quite inspired, so I decided to add a bit of animation to the project.
After these two lovely heads ... I decided to continue with these vaguely symbolic human situations and variations ...
(Enlargeable)
... so I drew some more heads ... and some limbs ... in a different arrangement. There is a bit of Photoshop editing present on this picture, of course.
(Enlargeable)
That lovely pile of heads was soon followed by an animated version of the same abomination.

Here you can see the first, raw version of the artwork.

After that I tried to do something different ... don't know exactly what ... but the final result looked like this.
(Enlargeable)
Here is a little animation with the same character ... and on the following picture ...
IMG_4194 malo.jpg
... you can see the original sketch.

With this ... thing ... I tried to add a bit of elegance to the post, I started with a nicer looking face, but the doodling took me again into weird, distorted anatomy ... and at the end :D the result isn't much different from the previous ones.

(Enlargeable)

I did a little animation again ...
IMG_4193 malo.jpg
... and here you can take a look at the first drawing. For the end ...
IMG_4191 malo.jpg
... I decided to do a group portrait of some non-existent people ... or some similar loosely defined humanoids.
IMG_4191 EDIT malo.jpg
I did a bit of editing & coloring in Photoshop ...

(Enlargeable)

... and I ended the whole thing with yet another little animation - THE END.
As always in these posts on HIVE, all the artworks are in all segments my work.

Very nice work! But I think I will have quite wild dreams during the night after looking at all your creation! It seems you are trying to communicate with those on the other side of the curtain!

Since I was in a strange mood tonight...your artwork provided solace that I was not alone within my strangeness 😎 Nice work; I enjoyed it.

Woah, I'm not sure I've ever seen illustrations by you but these are really cool! I am leading a new project called @nftshowroom where you can tokenize your art and sell it, I would love for you to join! You can check out the @nftshowroom account or come visit the discord if you have any questions!

Thanks. Just did my first log in to @nftshowroom a few minutes ago and applied for whitelist. This project looks like a great idea.

Excellent, I see your application but I see no social info, can you make sure it is filled out and click update profile, I need at least one alternate social media to contact you for verification :)

From the media in the application, I have only a Twitter account, but the only things I ever twitted were a few posts from HIVE. :) Hope that's enough. I was always active on Facebook, so that account there looks like a real person's account with artwork and stuff.
There is a place for Website in the application ... I don't have any website, hope that this is not a problem.
I mean :) most of the fields in the application I really can't fill.

The only place on the Internet (before Steemit and now HIVE) where I uploaded a considerable amount of artwork is Shutterstock.

He, he ... I just remembered that I have an Instagram account too ... But I never used it, is pretty empty there. I'll put the link nonetheless.

Ok, I'll submit another application right now.

Oh dear, borjan,
You are brilliant, but I wish you more peaceful reveries. Go away from the computer. Pet your cats and wander through the fields. These do not seem to be friendly visions.

From a good friend, who loves your work :)

:D I have to let them out from time to time. And since I'm using HIVE for everything ... this stuff must also end up here.
