I feel that I get along very well with these characters especially those that are fascinating creatures with strange shapes and human features, and I really enjoyed doing it. Hola blogueros , ¿Cómo están? esta vez les muestro un fanart mas del juego de @splinterlands. Esta vez he querido recrear un personaje de agua. Siento que me llevo muy bien con estos personajes en especial los que sean creaturas fascinantes con formas mas extrañas y con rasgos humanos , y me ha gustado mucho hacerlo. te cuento como fue y el paso a paso .

⚪ Process/ Proceso

One of the things that caught my attention is that immediately when I saw this character I remembered the movie "THE SHAPE OF WATER" where a creature very similar to this one appears, it gave me the vibe of being an extraordinary aquatic being. The color palette and the curved shapes were another thing that I liked, so I decided to get going.

Una de las cosa que mas me llamo la atención este personaje es que inmediatamente al verlo recordé la pelicular de " LA FORMA DEL AGUA" donde aparece una criatura muy parecida a esta, me dio la vibra de ser un ser acuático extraordinario. La paleta de color y las formas tan curvas fueron otra de las cosa que me gustaron, así que decidí ponerme en marcha.

To make this sketch the first thing I did was to choose the shapes from which I was going to start to recreate it, this time I chose circle as the main shape and ovals for the other body shapes. I feel it was the right decision. I was building the whole character from a round visual path, I was very inspired by those illustrations of Chinese dragons with which they represent the fights where they have that round shape and that are rolled up in their own body shape.

Para hacer este boceto lo primero que hice fue elegir las formas de la cual iba a partir para recrearlo, esta vez he elegido circulo como forma principal y óvalos para las demás formas del cuerpo. siento que fue una decisión acertada. todo el personaje lo fui constituyendo a partir de un recorrido visual redondo, me inspire mucho en esas ilustraciones de dragones chinos con los que representan los combates donde tiene esa forma redonda y que se enrollan en su propia forma del cuerpo.

Then in the choice of color I only made a few changes of tones, to maintain the essence of the character, this particular character I did not want to put too much light as I felt that this character would look great in the depths of the ocean alone and with an aura of mystery around him.

Luego en la elección de color solo hice unos pocos cambios de tonos, para mantener esa escencia del personaje, este personaje en particular no le quise colocar mucha luz ya que sentía que este personaje se vería muy bien entre las profundidades del océano solo y con un aura de misterio a su alrededor.

There is a hidden cave borne into the wall of the abyss that holds the Dark Water in ΛZMΛRÉ. Inside this cave, there is a rarely-seen steam vent, but not an ordinary steam vent. Rather than hot air, the cracks in the rocks vent a shimmering and magical light that radiates from deep within the guts of the Planet. As the light gathered in the otherwise dark underwater cavern, the piles of kelp growing there were strangely affected. They came to life and formed into Kelp Initiates that quickly found their way out of the cave.
