Tomorrow. A microfiction. #Zapfic Microfiction Contest. Week 132

avatar

It has been a while since I participated in #Zapfic Microfiction Contest (click for call week 132). A contest I love very much. I have recommended it many times and I do it again. The reasons are still the same and many to list them all at once, but perhaps one of the most important is training in the rigors of scarcity. This is a treasure for every writer.
I leave a very affectionate greeting to @felt.buzz, who is a generous soul, and my thanks to Freewriters Community for supporting this contest and so kindly hosting my post.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is enormous for those who are on board a can at the bottom of the sea. Tomorrow it smells like mornings in the yard under the apple tree and my mother's shampoo.
Instead, the water soaks into my boots.

Mañana

Spanish version

Mañana es enorme para quien está a bordo de una lata en el fondo del mar. Mañana huele a las mañanas en el patio bajo el manzano y al shampú de mi madre. En cambio, el agua empapa mis botas.
