GLORY

GLORY
On the walls of history
I'll write my name,
with the sword of victory
I'll lay my claim.
Like the heroes of the past
I'll have my fame
and no man on me would cast
an unworthy blame.

The sun would shine
on my very face
and though in that shrine
they'll call my tomb,
I shall lie in peaceful tune;
away from life and all it's doom
with God and my forefathers.

But still in my mind
I shall recall my every moment, every breath.
And then in the depth of my tomb
free from life's gloom,
I'll smile on all my efforts.
