This was a photo I took from Giant, a hypermarket nearby my house. I intended to use it for #marketfriday but somehow didn't manage to figure out the time to blog. Talking about priorities, always have to put priority on house matter and family first. I thought before, if I were single, I would have spent alot of fun time at Hive, like whole day. Haha.

Back to farm fresh produce

Aren't those fruits lovely? And to think of people putting hardwork to plant them, water them, take care of them, so that we have food to eat. I admire people who have a little garden to plant, then when the vegetables and fruits grow, you really get to eat super duper fresh farm produce, not being sprayed with chemicals or treated in some ways. My parents have their own garden where they plant chillies, mangoes, locak vegetables. And my mum really felt proud if that day she got to pick vegetables from the garden and cook them. She said those vegetables were sweet.

The other day, my husband and I just talked about some people resort to fasting and instead of eating three times a day, we eat 1 meal a day. Apparently, the notion of eating three to four meals a day was man-made. That was due to overproduction of food by genetically modified organism in fruits and vegetables. Even animals. Even seeds. Like the whole world is actually eating GMO food. We are pretty sure it affects our health and maybe that's why people get sick easier compared to last time. And we have shorter life span too.

And we haven't even included all the processed food. Oh well, how can we avoid as they are everywhere at shops, markets and supermarkets and malls. In order to really eat real clean fresh food, I think we need to live in a cave. I'm talking about my situation ya.
