Lost Soul

What's on your mind?
Nothing, completely blank! I was scrolling here and there and suddenly came across a tech group, I noticed a post where the author is facing some serious level of depression and suicidal thoughts and he was seeking game recommendations that might help him to get detached from those thoughts. He was trying to get addicted to games just to avoid those suicidal thoughts, his condition is so worse that he is feeling like he won't last a week, anything may happen to him by himself. What a terrible situation one might go through! When I thought of saying something then I noticed a ton of comments already exist there, a few were as long as a paragraph and I started reading them too.

Majority of the people suggested that he should go to a doctor and take counsel. Video games or stuff like these can work well for a temporary duration, but won't help as a permanent solution. I was thinking the same and would have suggested him to do so. Because we may forget everything when we take the consoles or put our hands on the keyboard, once we shut down the device we are back again in the pile of our shits. Well, I would have also suggested a break from his regular routine and traveling somewhere remote, saw a few recommendations too. Well, this was so sweet of people that everyone is coming forward and trying to help with valuable thoughts and opinions.

But the most surprising thing is yet to be revealed, there were a lot of comments who have suffered/suffering from this kinda heavy depression and suicidal thoughts and many have also shared how many times they have attempted suicide. Maybe there are a lot who were successful in their attempts and could not present their story here, just think about it. Maybe some were lucky/unlucky enough to be unsuccessful in their attempts and so living like hell again and sharing their thoughts and stories. Not everyone is the same, some did an amazing recovery and have shared how they have coped with the situation and found the true meaning of their life. In my real-life scenario I have seen both types of people.

Have I ever tried to be suicidal? Nope, never. I may have gone through depression several times to an extreme level but never wanted to suicide, anything like that hasn’t even appeared in my wildest dream. You may call me a coward who fears dying or I may consider my life precious enough to live for thousands of years. What about you? Have you tried to be suicidal or anything of this sort? How would you deal if anything like this comes across you? Personally, I think we must find a purpose, some unfinished desires, something to link with us for bigger impacts. Life may not be a fairytale, ups and downs could be our daily companions but don't take your life for granted, many are dying to live.
