Highly overrated

I only went to a concert a view times in my life.

Never to the ones world-famous (pop) musicians give.
I do not like to stay, ran over or pushed by people and I do not like my day out been spoiled by drunk and yelling people who can not sing or keep their hands to themselves.

If I go to a concert I want to listen to, hear, see and enjoy the artist, not hear, smell and feel the people around me.

So in most cases, I went to concerts given in a theatre. Years ago, many years ago, I went to the "New Year's concert". You mainly hear classical music on the first of Januar. It's never organized in the area where I live and I do not like to drive two or more hours to listen to it.

Beggar's Row is one of the few bands I saw several years in a row as they visited an outdoor event in the Netherlands. I always liked their music. I think the last time I met them was in 2003. At that time already some band members were replaced by others and for me, it was good enough to listen to their CD.

I am not a people's person, I do not like crowds and I find a concert, artists and the price asked for tickets highly overrated so I stay home. No one was ever my hero and I was never a crazy fan. These days I mainly enjoy the silence.
