Excursion to the Asolo Hills - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone, here I am with another excursion.
One of the last of this month because unfortunately due to covid restrictions, I will not be able to explore as I would like.

Ciao a tutti, eccomi con un'altra escursione.
Una delle ultime di questo mese perchè purtroppo a causa delle restrizioni covid, non potrò esplorare come mi piacerebbe.

It was the first time I took an excursion to Monfumo.
I noticed while driving that there was a bridge and a nice stream, so I went to explore.

Era la prima volta che facevo un'escursione a Monfumo.
Mi sono accorto mentre guidavo che c'era un ponte e un bel torrente, così sono andato ad esplorare.

I went up a small stone road and the more I climbed the more the view of the surrounding landscape was beautiful. Beyond the stream was the road, still beyond a few houses on the grassy hills.

Ho risalito una stradina di sassi e più salivo più la vista sul panorama circostante era bella. Oltre torrente c'era la strada, ancora oltre qualche casa su delle colline erbose.

The beauty of the province of Treviso is precisely the very varied territory, made up of sinuous landscapes but also of real mountains up to cultivated fields.

Il bello della provimcia di Treviso è proprio il territorio molto vario, composta da paesaggi sinuosi ma anche di montagne vere e proprie fino a campi coltivati.

The day was beautiful, there was no one and apparently I had just discovered a really beautiful trail!

La giornata era splendida, non c'era nessuno e a quanto pare avevo appena scoperto un sentiero davvero bello!

Strange that mountain, it looks like a natural pyramid.

Strano quel monte, sembra una piramide naturale.

On either side were vineyards with leafless vines.

Ai lati c'erano i vigneti con le viti senza foglie.

Continuing the landscape was all in a winter dress.

However, a breadth of vision that relaxed me.

Proseguendo il paesaggio era tutto con veste invernale.

Tuttavia un'ampiezza di visuale che mi rilassava.

Turning the view behind me was no less.

I could see the snow-capped mountain peaks in the background.

Voltandomi il panorama alla mie spalle non era da meno.

The trail was very nice, easy to walk.
I have not found tiring climbs.

In point there were also military tunnels dating back to the First World War, carved into the rock.

In punto c'erano anche delle gallerie militari risalenti alla prima guerra mondiale, scavate nella roccia.

Arriving at a crossroads, I was very undecided on which way to take.

I decided to go right.

Arrivato ad un bivio, ero molto indeciso su quale strada prendere.

Ho deciso di andare a destra.

There were houses nearby and some people worked the land and pruned trees.

Lì vicino c'erano delle case e alcune persone lavoravano il terreno e potavano gli alberi.

The view was great. I can say that I have discovered a beautiful place half an hour from home!

Il panorama era fantastico. Posso dire di aver scoperto un bel posto a mezzora da casa!

A little hidden was a beautiful stone house that had just been restored.

I thought:
it would be nice to relax up here in a little house like that.

But then I thought: maybe it's a bit too isolated and the smartphone has no signal!

Un po' nascosta c'era una bella casetta di sassi appena restaurata.

Pensavo:
sarebbe bello rilassarsi qua su in una casetta come quella.

Ma poi ho pensato: forse è un po' troppo isolata e lo smartphone non ha segnale!

I admit, I've become a bit addicted to the internet, I find it an indispensable resource.
