Walk to the Garzaia Oasis in Pederobba - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

After a few months I finally managed to return to a place I really like, the Naturalistic Oasis Garzaia in Pederobba, in the province of Treviso.

Dopo alcuni mesi finalmente sono riuscito a tornare in un posto che mi piace molto, l'Oasi Naturalistica Garzaia a Pederobba, in provincia di Treviso.
The oasis is very large, we are talking about an area of 163 hectares, furthermore on one side there is the Piave river while internally it is crossed by the resurgent waters of the fountains of San Giacomo.

L'oasi è molto vasta, si parliamo di una superificie di 163 ettari, inoltre da un lato c'è il fiume Piave mentre internamnete è attraversata dalle acque risorgive delle fontane di San Giacomo.
The presence of so much water makes the oasis the ideal place for biodiversity which is really important in this place.

La presenza di così tanta acqua rende l'oasi il luogo ideale per la biodiversità che in questo luogo è davvero importante.
Even the peregrine falcon and in some cases the golden eagle have been spotted from this area!

The environments of the oasis can be divided into 4 types: resurgence biotope, riparian biotope, shore biotope and willow-poplar-shrub biotope.
This makes the landscape very varied, you can walk for a couple of hours without realizing it.

Gli ambienti dell'oasi possono dividersi in 4 tipologie: biotopo di risorgiva, biotopo ripariale, biotopo di greto e biotopo saliceto-pioppeto-arbusteto.
Questo rende il paesaggio molto vario, si può camminare per un paio d'ore senza rendersene conto.
This time I decided to take an alternative path that rises in altitude with respect to the oasis and this allowed me to take photos from a new point of view.

Questa volta ho deciso di percorrere un sentiero alternativo che sale di quota rispetto all'oasi e questo mi ha permesso di scattare delle foto da un punto di vista inedito.
Among the willows you can see the Piave river.

This is a relaxing place just half an hour drive from where I live.
If you find yourself near Pederobba, I highly recommend a visit!
