Wildlife Oasis of Castel Ivano, Trentino Alto Adige

I was driving home from a hike and out of the corner of my eye I noticed a group of deer!

Stavo guidando verso casa da un'escursione e con la coda dell'occhio mi sono accorto di un gruppo di cervi !

The sun was setting and the deer were in the shade.

Il sole stava tramontando e i cervi erano all'ombra.

There was a wire mesh separating me from them.

A separarmi da loro c'era una rete metallica.

It was a protected oasis and I had never seen deer because they were in the woods and I had never seen them driving by.

Si trattava di un'oasi protetta e non avevo mai visto i cervi perchè erano nel bosco e non li avevo mai visti passando in auto.

There was a single male with beautiful and imposing multi-stage horns.

C'era un solo maschio con delle bellissime e imponenti corna a più palchi.

It must be the mating season because he craved for the females running towards them.

Dev'essere il periodo degli amori perchè bramiva verso el femmine correndo verso di loro.

Thanks to my micro four thirds camera and its small lenses, I was able to slip the 45mm (90mm equivalent on full frame) between the meshes and take more natural photos without understanding the ugly metal mesh.

Grazie alla mia fotocamera micro quattro terzi e i suoi piccoli obiettivi, sono riuscito ad infilare il 45mm (90mm equivalente su full frame) tra le maglie della rete e scattare foto più naturali senza comprendere la bruttissima rete metallica.
