Chang Chui Plane Day and Night Market in Bangkok.
I've been to many markets in Thailand but Chang Chui Plane Market stood out the most. I loved that this was such a different market. It's a creative market place where there are art installations, creative sculptures and pieces, music gigs, cafes, restaurants and of course little shops selling vintage and contemporary stuff and not to mention this huge silver DC-10 plane in the middle of the market just amazing piece of art this was.
Even though there were not many people there due to the covid-19 and i was there early i could fell that this market would have a superb atmosphere it had all the sights, sounds and tastes. For an art lover, foodie, fashionista or person who loves a sophisticated yet casual atmosphere this was the place to be.
The concept of Chang Chui Plane Night Market happened by a new generation of artists and designers in Thailand they wanted to show of there new art designs without spending a lot of money and they have certainly done a terrific job by taking us back in time mixing and blending with old times like this old saloon hotel and bar.
What made this Chang Chui market more intriguing was everything you see around this market was made by reusable materials and you can see how they made everything fit in perfectly all in there unique way from the shops to restaurants restrooms to the grounds all blending in together.
The whole concept of Chang Chui markets was about art and they proved that with this project that nothing is useless everywhere you looked around it was done with taste and unique it's a very inspiring place for art lovers.
Had to get a photo of back of this little girl's hair i thought it was a great piece of art work 😅
I loved the way they used the old plane parts and war ammunition boxes for areas to sit around and have a meal or a cold beer nothing wasted.
It was honestly fascinating walking around this market no matter where i looked up , down , left , right every little corner was photogenic have a look at these chandeliers made up of plastic buckets , pots , pans , plastic tubing and plastic small chairs super cool.
The grounds themselves were very clean and the gardens nicely kept a real refreshing scenery. The giant skull is actually a huge greenhouse with a restaurant inside and it has great affordable Thai and western foods.
They have a few awesome art galleries and even a cinema and a live band that plays there i think mainly on weekends as the market would bring in more people on the weekends.
Then this is the blow out mind part in this huge silver DC-10 plane is what's called Noah Restaurant down in real class with with chandeliers and animal sculptures giving you the best of Thai food and Western foods and even has a live band playing inside this plane it was closed at the time i was there but opens later in the evening this would be a real experience to see in action maybe next time i will take my lady out there for dinner 🙂
Thanks for coming humans a pleasure having you all here your always welcome back ❤️

Very cool and creative market! I'd want to eat inside the plane. Quick note. That is a Lockheed L-1011 not a DC-10. L-1011 was the competitor to the DC-10 and a much better aircraft. It was too modern for its time and the airlines went for the DC-10 instead because they couldn't get their crews to wrap their heads around the L-1011 advances. They're not very common these days so its even cooler that's what they have in the market there. I'd love that place
Thank you @hidave and thanks for the correction they do look very similar though it was a amazing plane to see in this market unexpected and even more surreal having a restaurant built in the belly of the plane and done in class.
A very unique market. A haven for artists and antique collectors.
Thanks it certainly is a artists place to be 👍
A very special market Sis, thanks for sharing 😍

The girl with the hair dress up as Chun Li?
Haha..true it looks pretty cool 😅
Hey you! :) That is not a McDonald Douglas DC-10! I think it's Lockheeds, but, most people cannot tell the difference in them. They look the same.
This place was tops! I mean, who puts a plane in their mall? I love it and I love the entire art scene... reusing where possible and leaving the rest up to the imagination! You have to wonder what it is like to live inside one of their heads, no?
